Rotating Rigid Latch Attachments for a Car Seat Base
A base for a child car seat includes a seat base body configured to support a child carrier. The seat base body has a belt channel configured to receive a vehicle seat belt to retain the seat bas body against a vehicle seat. The base for a child car seat further includes a latch connector arm having a proximal end pivotally connected to the seat base body and a distal end configured to attach to a rigid anchor of the vehicle seat. The latch connector is rotatable between a stowed position and an attachment position. In the stowed position, the latch connector arm is located such that the vehicle seat belt may extend through the belt channel and connect to a buckle of the vehicle seat without contacting the latch connector arm.
Child Safety Seat
A child safety seat includes a first and a second restraining device, and an alert device and a first and a second switch serially connected in a series circuit. Each of the first and second restraining device is deployable to engage with a corresponding structure provided in a vehicle, each of the first and second restraining devices being operable independently and having an idle position and a deployed position. The first and second switches are respectively coupled operatively to the first and second restraining device, and are respectively closed when the first restraining device is in the deployed position and the second restraining device in the idle position. The alert device is thereby activable to emit an alert signal when the first restraining device is in the deployed position and the second restraining device in the idle position.
SHOULDER STRAP WIDTH ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM AND CHILD SAFETY SEAT
The disclosure provides a shoulder strap width adjustment mechanism (40) comprising: a rail device (44), arranged on a seat backrest (22), including a first rail (441) and a second rail (442) arranged on both sides of the seat backrest (22) and extending substantially in a longitudinal direction, and a lateral distance between the first rail (441) and the second rail (442) gradually changes in the longitudinal direction; and two shoulder strap fixing members (42), connected to a seat headrest (30) and positioned between the seat headrest (30) and the seat backrest (22), and being slidable respectively along the first rail (441) and the second rail (442) of the rail device (44). In the disclosure, the shoulder strap width can be adjusted synchronously during the process of adjusting the height of the headrest, so as to meet the requirements of children of different heights and different body types.
BASE STRUCTURE ADAPTED FOR A SEAT BODY OF A CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A base structure (100) adapted for a seat body of a child safety seat is provided and includes a first base (1), a second base (2), a locking component (3) and a releasing mechanism (4). The second base (2) is pivotally connected to the first base (1) and located above the first base (1). A locking hole (21) is formed on a bottom portion of the second base (2). The locking component (3) is slidably disposed on the first base (1). An end of the locking component (3) is for engaging with an end of the locking hole (21). An end of the releasing mechanism (4) is located inside the second base (2) and slidably disposed on A another end of the locking hole (21). The releasing mechanism (4) is operated to push the locking component (3) to disengage from the locking hole (21) for unlocking the second base (2), so as to allow the second base (2) to pivot relative to the first base (1).
Child Safety Seat
A child safety seat includes a seat shell having two sidewalls respectively provided at a left and a right side of the seat shell for restricting sideways movement of a child sitting on the seat shell, the two sidewalls including a first and a second sidewall, a buffering part movably connected with the seat shell, the buffering part being movable between a stowed position retracted toward the first sidewall and a deployed position protruding sideways from the first sidewall, a spring for biasing the buffering part toward the stowed position, and a latching mechanism including a latch carried with the buffering part, the latch being movable between a locking state for locking the buffering part in the deployed position and an unlocking state for unlocking the buffering part so that the buffering part is rotatable relative to the seat shell.
Vehicle seats providing access to child seat release latches
In one embodiment, a vehicle seat includes a seating portion and a seat back extending from the seating portion. The seat back defines a rear facing surface and a recessed area formed in the rear facing surface. The recessed area extends from an upper surface of the seat back toward a central portion of the seat back. The recessed area defines a void between the vehicle seat and a child seat positioned proximate to the seat back.
CHILD SEAT FOR MOUNTING ON A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
The invention relates to a child seat for mounting on a motor vehicle seat child seat, said child seat comprising: a seat shell, a side impact protection element which is attached or can be attached to the seat shell and can be transferred between a rest position, in particular located within a predetermined width, and a functional position, in particular located outside the predetermined width, at least one means for making it more difficult to move the seat into the rest position and/or for making it more difficult, or preventing it, from being permanently set to the rest position.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
The present disclosure discloses a child safety seat, which includes: a base, a rear portion of which is formed with a top rod protruding upwardly; a seat rotatably fixed on the base; and a tether telescopically connected to the base, wherein, the tether can be automatically retracted when it is extended relative to the base. The child safety seat of the present disclosure has an advantage of convenient connection and is not easy to misuse.
