BASE FOR INTERCHANGEABLY CONNECTING AN INFANT CARRIER AND A CHILD CAR SEAT
A base for accommodating both an infant carrier and a child car seat includes a rebound portion and a bottom portion. The bottom portion presents a connection portion. In one embodiment, the bottom portion interfaces with a bottom of the infant carrier such that the infant carrier connects to the base in a rear-facing configuration. In one embodiment, the connection portion includes seat receiving sections that are configured to receive carrier legs of the infant carrier or child car seat legs of the child car seat and enable connection between the base and the infant carrier or a child car seat. The base allows connecting the child car seat in a front-facing configuration or a rear-facing configuration depending on the need. The base eliminates the need to install multiple bases by offering compatibility for two different seating products i.e., the infant carrier and child car seat.
Infant car seat base attachment mechanism
An infant car seat system includes a base including a first pair of brackets and a second pair of brackets; and an infant car seat including a first pair of locking pins positioned and arranged to be locked via the first pair of brackets and a second pair of locking pins positioned and arranged to be locked via the second pair of brackets, the infant car seat further including a release handle configured to allow the user to unlock the first pair of locking pins from the first pair of brackets, after which the user is able to at least partially lift the infant car seat from the base, the at least partial lifting causing the second pair of locking pins to become unlocked from the second pair of brackets.
Shoulder strap width adjustment mechanism and child safety seat
The disclosure provides a shoulder strap width adjustment mechanism (40) comprising: a rail device (44), arranged on a seat backrest (22), including a first rail (441) and a second rail (442) arranged on both sides of the seat backrest (22) and extending substantially in a longitudinal direction, and a lateral distance between the first rail (441) and the second rail (442) gradually changes in the longitudinal direction; and two shoulder strap fixing members (42), connected to a seat headrest (30) and positioned between the seat headrest (30) and the seat backrest (22), and being slidable respectively along the first rail (441) and the second rail (442) of the rail device (44). In the disclosure, the shoulder strap width can be adjusted synchronously during the process of adjusting the height of the headrest, so as to meet the requirements of children of different heights and different body types.
Indicator assembly of a supporting leg device for a safety seat and safety seat
An indicator assembly of a supporting leg device for a safety seat and a safety seat are provided. The indicator assembly includes an indicator housing having an indicator window; an indicating member including a first area and a second area adjacent to each other; a first elastic member for pivoting the indicating member to a first position in a first direction; a pushing member, a top end of which pushing the indicating member to pivot to a second position in a second direction; a driving member including an upper end provided with an engaging hook and a lower end capable of touching a floor, in which the engaging hook can be engaged into the engaging hole of the pushing member. According to the indicator assembly of the present disclosure, a user can observe whether the supporting leg device touches the floor of a vehicle without leaning over.
Child safety seat and seat base
A child safety seat and a seat base for the child safety seat are provided. The seat base includes a buckling mechanism, an indication mechanism, and a linkage mechanism. The buckling mechanism is configured to buckle into a seat body. The indication mechanism includes an indication area, which is configured to indicate a buckling state of the seat base and the seat body. The linkage mechanism is disposed between the buckling mechanism and the indication mechanism. When the buckling mechanism is buckled into the seat body, the linkage mechanism drives the indication area to present a first indication state; and when the buckling mechanism is unbuckled from the seat body, the linkage mechanism drives the indication area to present a second indication state.
FASTENING SYSTEM FOR CHILD SEATS
A fastening system for fastening a child seat or a base for a child seat to a motor vehicle seat, comprises a hook for engaging around a bracket provided on the motor vehicle, such as an Isofix anchorage, in order to couple the fastening system to the motor vehicle seat. The hook is switchable between a first position, in which it does not couple the fastening system to the motor vehicle seat, and a second position, in which it couples the fastening system to the motor vehicle seat. An electrical detection device comprises a sensor suitable for detecting whether the hook is in the first or the second position, wherein the detection device is configured for indirect detection of the respective position or wherein the detection device, in particular the sensor, has a distance relative to the hook, both in its first and in its second position.
