The present invention also relates to a system and a method for installation of at least two child safety seats in a vehicle seat of a vehicle.
Rotating rigid latch attachments for a car seat base
A base for a child car seat includes a seat base body configured to support a child carrier. The seat base body has a belt channel configured to receive a vehicle seat belt to retain the seat bas body against a vehicle seat. The base for a child car seat further includes a latch connector arm having a proximal end pivotally connected to the seat base body and a distal end configured to attach to a rigid anchor of the vehicle seat. The latch connector is rotatable between a stowed position and an attachment position. In the stowed position, the latch connector arm is located such that the vehicle seat belt may extend through the belt channel and connect to a buckle of the vehicle seat without contacting the latch connector arm.
Seating system for a motor vehicle
A seating system for a motor vehicle provides for a seat and a child safety seat defined by a body, which forms part of a seat cushion of the seat. The system has a releasable fastening apparatus of the ISOFIX type comprising two lower anchoring elements and two upper anchoring elements which can be selectively engaged by connecting elements carried by the body for securing the latter to the seat in a lowered position and a raised position, respectively.
Safety seat and base thereof
The present disclosure provides a base for a safety seat, which includes a base body and a support mechanism mounted with the base body for supporting the seat on a vehicle seat. The support mechanism includes a support member extending out of the base body and movable back and forth with respect to the base body, and an adjustment assembly configured to adjust a position of the support member with respect to the base body.
In-vehicle seat
An in-vehicle seat includes a seat back, a seat cushion, and an anchor for fixing a child seat. The seat cushion has a seat cushion base, a seat cushion pad that is removable from the seat cushion, and a supporting panel. The supporting panel is provided between the seat cushion base and the seat cushion pad, and serves as a placement face for the child seat. The anchor is provided at a position at which the anchor is covered and hidden by the seat cushion pad, and at which the anchor is externally exposed when the seat cushion pad is removed from the seat cushion. A guide groove that guides a linking portion protruding from the child seat to the anchor is provided in the supporting panel.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a seat pad configured to support an occupant, the seat pad having a through-hole provided so as to extend through the seat pad in a direction from an occupant sitting side toward a side opposite to the occupant sitting side; and a frame member attached to an opening end of the through-hole on the occupant sitting side, the frame member having an opening configured such that a fixation connecting portion of a child safety seat is inserted into the opening. The frame member is provided with a locking portion locked to the seat pad. The seat pad includes a locking pad portion constituting a part of an inner wall surface of the through-hole, a wire member is embedded in the locking pad portion, and the locking portion of the frame member is locked to the locking pad portion.
INFANT CAR SEAT AND STABILITY LEG AND RELEASE ACTUATOR
An infant car seat includes a seat base and a stability leg. The stability leg includes an upper leg tube, a middle leg tube, a lower leg tube, a rotary member, a first latch and a second latch. The middle leg tube includes at least one hole. The lower leg tube includes at least one opening. The rotary member is assembled with the seat base and affixed to the upper leg tube. The first latch is disposed on a bottom of the upper leg tube and adapted to detachably engage with the at least one hole for constraining a movement between the upper leg tube and the middle leg tube. The second latch is disposed on a bottom of the middle leg tube, and adapted to detachably engage with the at least one opening for constraining a movement between the middle leg tube and the lower leg tube.
Motor vehicle
ISOFIX systems are used for fastening child seats in a motor vehicle. A motor vehicle is provided in which the ISOFIX restraint systems have adequate crash safety despite being longer than customary ISOFIX securing clamps. This is achieved in that at least individual ISOFIX securing clamps have an overall length lying within a range of 50 mm to 120 mm, and a reinforcing component is mounted on each ISOFIX securing clamp at a body-side end of each ISOFIX securing clamp. Each reinforcing component has a height which corresponds to a length of longitudinal portions of each ISOFIX securing clamp, and a body-side portion of the longitudinal portions of each ISOFIX securing clamp is supported by each reinforcing component.
Motor vehicle with fixation element for child seat
A motor vehicle includes a passenger compartment having at least one vehicle seat and a fixation element fixing a child seat with a counter-fixation element. A flap with a front side and back side that can be moved between a closed position and an open position, so that the fixation element is inaccessible for the counter-fixation element in the closed position of the flap, and the fixation element is accessible for the counter-fixation element in the open position of the flap. The flap is mounted in such a way that, in the open position of the flap, a back side of the flap forms a ramp for the counter-fixation element to mechanically guide the counter-fixation element to the fixation element.
