VEHICLE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
A seating arrangement for a vehicle is shown to include a plurality of seats, including at least two front seats, at least two rear seats, and a rear jump seat positioned intermediate the two rear seats. The jump seat comprises a seat back which is positioned rearwardly of the rear seats, and the rear seats are movable laterally between a first position where the rear seats are proximate to each other and generally covering the seat back of the jump seat, and a second position where the rear seats are spaced apart from each other and the seat back of the jump seat is exposed. The arrangement may also include rear seats which are rotatable relative to the seat backs to provide a storage surface.

Locking system for a seat arrangement of a motor vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a locking system for a seat arrangement of a motor vehicle, which seat arrangement has an adjustment component which is adjustable manually into at least one locking position, wherein the locking system has a locking mechanism, and wherein the adjustment component is lockable and releasable in the locking position by means of the locking mechanism, wherein the locking mechanism has an actuation drive by means of which the locking mechanism is releasable in a motorized manner, wherein the locking system has a proximity sensor which is triggerable by a predefined operator control event and wherein, by means of the triggering of the proximity sensor, the adjustment component is releasable in a motorized manner via the actuation drive.
Vehicle seat with laterally collapsing portion
A vehicle seat includes cushion and a seatback coupled with the cushion. At least one of the seatback and the cushion includes a base body defining an internal cavity open on a side of the base portion and a secondary body slidably mounted with the base body so as to be extendible out of the internal cavity beyond the side of the base body and retractable at least partially within the cavity.
Movable partition system for a vehicle with stowable jumpseat
A movable partition system for a vehicle is provided. The movable partition system includes a body configured to be movably coupled to a cabin of the vehicle. The body is movable between at least a first position and a second position. The movable partition system includes a jumpseat coupled to the body so as to be pivotal about a first pivot axis and a second pivot axis. The jumpseat is pivotable about the first pivot axis and the second pivot axis to move between a first, stowed position and a second, use position. The first pivot axis is offset from the second pivot axis along a longitudinal axis of the jumpseat.
STOWABLE REVERSIBLE SEAT
A stowable reversible seat for a vehicle includes a first member pivotally coupled to a floor for supporting a seat base, a second member releasably secured to the floor for supporting the seat base, and a seat back pivotally coupled to the first member. Components of the seat pivot between a folded configuration for stowing and a deployed configuration for seating. The orientation of the seat may be reversed for switching between a forward-facing direction and an aft-facing direction. A method of configuring a seat into an aircraft includes adapting a cabinet area to receive and conceal the seat, configuring a rail to make the seat slidable out from the cabinet area into an aisle, attaching a pivotable seat base on the seat, and pivotally mounting a supporting leg underneath a portion of the seat to secure the pivotable seat base in a substantially horizontal position.
COCKPIT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR THE RECONFIGURATION OF A COCKPIT
A cockpit for a motor vehicle is described, with a support structure; a first side and a second, third, and fourth side mounted on the support structure in a sliding manner along the first axis and movable between a respective first and second position spaced apart from one another relative to the first axis; the first side and second side are opposite one another with reference to the first axis; the third side is interposed between the first side and the fourth side along the first axis; the fourth side is interposed between the third side and the second side along the first axis; the cockpit is available in a first, two-seater configuration, in which it comprises a first seat laterally delimited by the first side and third side arranged in the respective first positions; and a second seat laterally delimited by the fourth side and second side arranged in the respective first positions; the cockpit is available in a second single-seater configuration, in which it comprises a single third seat laterally delimited by the fourth side arranged in the second position and by the second side arranged in the second position.
