SECOND ROW PRIORITY SEATING FOR VEHICLES
Aspects of the disclosure relate to vehicles capable of autonomous driving. These vehicles may include seats for accommodating different numbers of passengers. In some cases, the seats may be reconfigurable. For instance, a vehicle may include a first row of seating having a first, passenger use configuration. The first row may allow a passenger to sit in a seat of the first row of seating and access user input controls for the vehicle. The first row of seating may also have a second, folded configuration where the first row is in a folded configuration and no longer usable for passenger seating. The vehicle may also have a second row of seating. When the first row of seating is in the second, folded configuration, the second row of seating may still be usable for seating and may include additional legroom for the passenger as compared to when the first row of seating is in the first passenger use configuration.
Vehicular seat
A vehicular seat capable of housing a seat back and a seat cushion connected to the seat back in a housing floor provided in a position lower than a vehicle body floor is described. The vehicular seat includes a support base connected to the vehicle body floor and to a lower end side of the seat back, a support leg having an upper end side mounted to the seat cushion and a lower end side connectable to the support base, and a leg holding member mounted to the support base and that detachably holds the lower end side of the support leg. The seat back is connected to the support base via right and left connecting brackets disposed on sides of the seat back and having first end sides mounted to corresponding lower end sides of the seat back and second end sides pivotally connected to the support base.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat compactly stowed in a stowed state while suppressing contact between pivot links. A stowable seat includes an inner link, an outer link, and a guide link coupled to a seat cushion of the seat, the links are pivoted with respect to a vehicle body floor in order to move the seat cushion to a stowed position. The inner link, the outer link, and the guide link are arranged at positions different from each other in the width direction of the seat so that contact between the pivot links is suppressed. Further, the guide link is arranged at a position different from the inner link and the outer link in the front to back direction of the seat so that the seat can be compactly stowed.
Vehicle seat with inclinable seatback
A vehicle seat comprising a seatback pivoting relative to a frame around the first transverse axis, a seat cushion pivoting relative to the seatback around a second transverse axis, a link pivoting relative to the seat cushion around a third transverse axis, wherein the link is further pivoting relative to the frame around a fourth transverse axis, a mechanism for releasing the angular position of the seatback relative to the frame around the first transverse axis, and an actuator, attached under the seat cushion. The angular position of the seatback relative to the frame released, the actuator commands a movement of the link relative to the seat cushion and consequently of the seatback relative to the seat cushion, from a comfort position of the seat to a flat floor position.
VEHICLE SEAT, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat (1), in particular a motor vehicle seat, includes a seat part (3), a backrest (5) and a four-bar-linkage arrangement (10), having a coupler (20), for the at least indirect coupling of the seat part (3) to a vehicle floor (S). The vehicle seat (1) is transferrable from a use position suitable for transporting an individual either into a first non-use position or into a second non-use position. The seat part (3) has a seat-part frame (30), which is pivotable relative to the coupler (20), and a locking device (52), which blocks a pivoting of the seat-part frame (30) relative to the coupler (20) in a first actuating state of the locking means (52). The locking device (52) permits a pivoting of the seat-part frame (30) relative to the coupler (20) in a second actuating state of the locking device (52).
Riding seat structure for passenger vehicle, and vehicle including same
A seat supporting member designed to support, from below, a seat member in its closed position, is provided on a body frame for allowing the seat member to be attached to and detached from the seat supporting member. A rear part of the seat member and an intermediate part of the seat supporting member in a front-rear direction thereof are connected to each other via a swinging arm. The seat member is supported on a body frame while its position is variable between a closed position where the seat member allows an occupant to sit thereon while covering at least one of maintenance spaces and a housing space from above; and an open position where an upper opening of the at least one of the maintenance spaces and the housing space is widely, almost completely opened.
ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR SEATING ASSEMBLY MEMBER
A seating assembly having a seating assembly frame that includes a seat frame and a seatback frame. The seating assembly includes an extension member coupled to the seat frame and movable in response to an actuating force between an extended position relative to the seat frame and a compressed position relative to the seat frame and including an end fixedly coupled to the seat frame and an end coupled to an adjustment device disposed on the seat frame.
VEHICLE SEAT
In a vehicle seat foldable by rotation of rotary links disposed below a seat cushion in a direction toward the seat cushion, a front end portion of the seat cushion includes a suspending portion of a cushion pad and a skin material covering the suspending portion. Contact portions of the front end portion of the seat cushion contacting the rotary links when the vehicle seat is in a folded state include a recessed portion provided at the suspending portion, and a flexible plate provided at an outer skin material downwardly extending along a front surface of the suspending portion in the skin material covering the recessed portion. The flexible plate is configured to restore the shape of the outer skin material when the rotary links are separated from the contact portions.
MULTIPLE POSITION BOAT SEAT
A multiple position convertible seat assembly for a boat includes three seat frames pivotally coupled to the boat and to each other to move from a first position as a seat, a second position as a lounge seat with leg support, and a third position forming another seat. In the third position, the seat includes a foldout cushion exposing a work surface.
Conveyance seat with a slide rail including a lower rail and an upper rail
A conveyance seat includes: a seat back; a seat cushion which includes a pair of cushion side frames extending in a front to back direction of the seat; a slide rail which slides the seat back and the seat cushion in the front to back direction of the seat; a connecting member connecting the seat cushion and the slide rail; and a first rotation portion which-rotatably connects the connecting member to the slide rail, the seat cushion is movable from a first height position to a second height position below the first height position in an up and down direction of the seat, and when the seat cushion moves to the second height position, the first rotation portion is disposed at the same height position as the slide rail in a side view of the conveyance seat to suppress an increase in size of the seat.
