Seat back structure for vehicle
A seat back structure for a vehicle according to one aspect of the present invention including a headrest, a seat back frame, a pad disposed in front of a surface of the seat back frame, a backrest surface of the pad, and right and left side supports each provided on either side of the backrest surface in a seat width direction, in which a right slit portion and a left slit portion are provided between the backrest surface and the right and the left side supports, respectively, each of the right slit portion and the left slit portion penetrating the pad in the thickness direction of the pad and extending in a vertical direction of the pad, and the right and the left slit portions are spaced apart from each other in the seat width direction.
Vehicle seat equipped with a fold-down element, such as a tray
The transport vehicle seat allows to avoid the violent collision of a passenger's head located on the seat placed behind and to dampen the violent forward rocking of this passenger, in case of a frontal collision of the transport vehicle. The seat includes a pivotably mounted fold-down element (10), such as a table, placed on the rear face of a seat back. It has blocking part (14) holding the fold-down element (10) in a substantially vertical position, blocking part (14) being able to break off during a collision applied to the fold-down element (10) and to allow the latter to go on rocking towards the back seat to which it is attached. Application to aircraft seats.
Vehicle seat comprising an area that is deformable in the event of an impact
A vehicle seat for a passenger, comprising a backrest having a front face directed towards the passenger and a rear face opposite the front face, and a seat part having an upper face directed towards the passenger and a lower face opposite the upper face, wherein the rear face of the backrest and/or the lower face of the seat part comprise(s) at least one area that is deformable in the event of an impact, towards the front face of the backrest and/or towards the upper face of the seat part respectively, and in that the front face and rear face of the backrest, and/or the upper face and lower face of the seat part are located at a distance from each other, at least at said at least one deformable area, so as to define a clearance space, said at least one deformable area of the rear face of the backrest and/or of the lower face of the seat part being configured so as to deform into the clearance space in the event of an impact on the rear face of the backrest and/or the lower face of the seat part, without transmitting the impact to the front face of the backrest and/or the upper face of the seat part respectively.
DEFORMATON ELEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
A deformation element for a motor vehicle seat, which element is intended to be arranged on a subassembly of a motor vehicle seat, having a base member, a deformation portion which is formed on the base member and on which the deformation element can be deformed and/or destroyed under the action of an external force, and a force introduction region by means of which a structural element of a motor vehicle seat can be brought into operational connection with the deformation portion so that a force acting on that structural element can be introduced via the force introduction region into the deformation portion. The deformation portion is formed by means of partial deformation of the material of the deformation element and at the transition of the deformation portion to the base member of the deformation element there is a weakening region which defines at least one tear line.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a lower member, a frame member, and a link member connected to the lower member and the frame member. The link member includes a first circular hole portion connected to the lower member so as to pivot about an axis in a width direction of a vehicle, a second circular hole portion connected to the frame member, a main body of plate shape in which the first circular hole portion and the second circular hole portion are formed, a flange projecting from the main body in a direction crossing the main body, a recess formed to bring the flange closer to an imaginary straight line connecting a center of the first circular hole portion with a center of the second circular hole portion, and an offset portion formed to shift the main body in a thickness direction of the main body.
SEAT ENERGY ABSORBER
An assembly includes a seatback defining an occupant-seating area. The seatback has a frame and a rear trim cover. The frame is between the occupant-seating area and the rear trim cover. The assembly includes a seat bottom extending from the seatback below the occupant-seating area. The assembly includes a deformable cell between the frame and the rear trim cover. The deformable cell extends from a first end proximate the frame to a second end proximate the rear trim cover. The deformable cell has a contraction between the first end and the second end.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
Provided is a conveyance seat that effectively reduces a load to be applied to an occupant at the time of a vehicle collision. A conveyance seat includes a seat back and a headrest. The seat back includes a chest support member inside the seat back, which receives a chest of an occupant to support the chest of the occupant when a backward movement load is applied to the occupant because of a vehicle collision. The headrest includes a head support member inside the headrest, which receives a head of the occupant to support the head of the occupant when the backward movement load is applied to the occupant. When the backward movement load is applied to the occupant, both the chest support member and the head support member receive the backward movement load.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat that can suppress damage to an on-board object is provided. In each side frame of a cushion frame, an eccentric portion is eccentric outward in a right-left direction with respect to a base portion, and in each side frame of a back frame, an eccentric portion is eccentric inward in the right-left direction with respect to a base portion. Thus, when the load at the time of rear collision acts, each side frame of the cushion frame easily becomes deformed outward in the right-left direction, and each side frame of the back frame easily becomes deformed inward in the right-left direction. Accordingly, the deformation direction of each side frame of the cushion frame and the deformation direction of each side frame of the back frame can be easily made opposite to each other, and the deformations of the respective side frames and can be inhibited.
Seat backrest
A seat backrest includes right and left side frame segments, a pressure receiving member disposed between the side frame segments movably in a front-back direction, and a cushion pad covering the front of the side frame segments and pressure receiving member. The pressure receiving member includes a main body part, and extending parts extending laterally from both sides of the main body part. The cushion pad includes a back receiving part covering the front of the main body part, and bank parts disposed on both sides of the back receiving part, protruding forward from both sides, and covering the front of the extending parts and side frame segments. A recess is formed at an area, facing a corresponding extending part of the extending parts, of a rear surface of each bank part.
VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH IMPACT ENERGY MANAGEMENT
A vehicle seat assembly is provided with a seatback frame adapted to be mounted to a vehicle interior. The seatback frame has a front region facing a forward direction, and a rear region. A first bracket is mounted to the front region of the seatback frame. A second bracket is mounted to the first bracket and the rear region of the seatback frame. At least one head restraint post is mounted to the first bracket or the second bracket and spaced apart from the seatback frame so that upon a rear vehicle impact, the second bracket deforms as the at least one head restraint post is translated toward the seatback frame.
