VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion including a cover, a frame and a pad, a plurality of parts of the cover being restrained to the frame and the pad; a cushion airbag device mounted in a front portion in the seat cushion and configured to inflate and deploy an airbag at a time of a frontal collision of a vehicle; and a restraint release part provided in a part of the cover positioned at at least one side in a seat front-rear direction with respect to the cushion airbag device among the plurality of parts of the cover. The restraint release part is configured to release the restraint of the part of the cover with an inflation pressure of the airbag.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a seat back. The seat cushion includes a storage member configured to store fine particles, shaped into a bag, and made of a flexible and gas-impermeable material, and a gas supply/suction member. The gas supply/suction member fluidizes the fine particles stored in the storage member by supplying the gas to the storage member to make it easy to change a shape of the storage member. The gas supply/suction member solidifies the fine particles stored in the storage member by sucking the gas from the storage member to make it hard to change the shape of the storage member. The storage member includes a rigid inclined member disposed on at least one end of a periphery of the storage member and configured to be inclined downward from an outer periphery of the seat cushion toward a center of the seat cushion.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion, a seat back, a storage member made of a flexible and gas-impermeable material, shaped into a bag, and configured to store fine particles, a cushion member having a flexibility lower than that of the storage member, and a gas supply/suction member configured to supply gas to the storage member and suck the gas from the storage member. The gas supply/suction member fluidizes the fine particles by supplying the gas to the storage member to make it easy to change a shape of the storage member. The gas supply/suction member solidifies the fine particles by sucking the gas from the storage member to make it hard to change the shape of the storage member. The storage member is disposed so as to face the occupant sitting on the vehicle seat. The cushion member is disposed on a back surface of the storage member.
Seat assembly with leg support
A seat assembly is provided having a seat bottom and at least one bladder mounted to the seat bottom adjacent a forward surface and filled with a compressible material. The bladder is moveable between a storage position and at least one leg-support position. A valve is in fluid communication with the at least one bladder. A vacuum pump in fluid communication with the valve. The compressible material is compressed under vacuum pressure generated by the pump when the valve is closed in the storage position. The compressible material is expanded when the valve is open to move the at least one bladder to the leg-support position.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
Provided is a conveyance seat capable of appropriately controlling the behavior of the pelvis (lumbar) of a seated occupant when an impact occurs, and thereby suppressing the generation of a compressive load on the spine of the seated occupant. This conveyance seat is provided with a seat cushion. The seat cushion has: a seat cushion frame; a cushion pad placed on the seat cushion frame; and a high-hardness portion provided below the cushion pad and higher in hardness than the material of the cushion pad. The high-hardness portion is disposed such that at least a part of the high-hardness portion overlaps a sinking suppression member in the vertical direction of the conveyance seat. The sinking suppression member is provided in the seat cushion frame or a vehicle body so that sinking of a seated occupant is suppressed. The sinking suppression member is disposed below the high-hardness portion.
Resin tip-up seat cushion frames and seat assemblies having resin tip-up seat cushion frames
A seat cushion, for a seat assembly, includes a seat cushion frame formed of a resin material. The seat cushion frame includes a base wall, a pair of side walls, and a front wall. The base wall includes a pair of side edges and a front edge that extends between the pair of side edges. The pair of side walls extend outward from the pair of side edges of the base wall. The front wall extends outwardly from the front edge of the base wall. The front wall configured to provide an anti-submarining feature.
Seat assembly having an anti-submarine bracket
A seat assembly having a seat bottom frame and at least one front mounting bracket assembly. The seat bottom frame may include an anti-submarine tube. The front mounting bracket assembly may have an anti-submarine bracket that may be configured to engage the anti-submarine tube to limit rotation of the seat bottom frame.
Seat assembly with integrated belt member
A seat assembly includes a seatback having an interior portion and a seat portion having an interior portion. A belt member includes first and second ends and a deployable portion disposed therebetween. The deployable portion is operable between a stowed position and a deployed position. The deployable portion of the belt member is disposed within the interior portion of the seatback and the interior portion of the seat portion when the deployable portion is in the stowed position. The deployable portion of the belt member is disposed outside of the interior portion of the seatback and outside of the interior portion of the seat portion when the deployable portion is in the deployed position. One or more retractor mechanisms are operably coupled to the belt member and operative to retract a portion of the deployable portion of the belt member after or during deployment.
Retention device for vehicle seat
A vehicle seating assembly includes a cushion supported by a seat frame and a retention device disposed laterally through the cushion in front of a predetermined H-point so as to be able to restrain a seated occupant. The retention device is selectively deployable from a design position to a deployed position in response to a sudden deceleration of a vehicle.
