Bearing for use in sliding head restraint
The present disclosure relates to bearings, guide sleeves and head restraint assemblies for automobiles.
INTEGRAL SINGLE-FRAME TWO-WAY HEADREST WITH U-SHAPED SINGLE ROD
Provided is an integral single-frame two-way headrest with a U-shaped single rod, comprising a U-shaped rod, an integral frame and a cover, the integral frame being externally covered with the cove, and the integral frame is hollow inside. An opening is arranged at a lower end of the integral frame, and an upper portion of the U-shaped rod is inserted into the inner frame from the opening, a plurality of positioning grooves is arranged on the right side of two downwardly extending ends of the U-shaped rod. A rod guide sleeve sleeved on both ends of the U-shaped rod is mounted at both ends of the opening, and the outer side of the integral frame is mounted with an unlocking steel wire corresponding to the positioning groove at both ends of the U-shaped rod, an unlocking lever connected with the unlocking steel wire and laterally movable is mounted in a hollow portion of the integral frame. The present invention has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient assembly and greatly reduced production cost.

VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE HEAD RESTRAINT
A head restraint assembly includes a base portion including a first post portion extending in a vertical direction. Also included is a head restraint operatively coupled to the base portion. Further included is a housing comprising a front shell and a rear shell. Yet further included is a lock slide manually moveable between a locked condition and an unlocked condition. Also included is at least one armature biasing member surrounding a portion of the base portion and biasing the base portion to be in constant contact with the front shell. Further included is at least one journal friction spring disposed within at least one of the front shell and the rear shell to control a manual adjustment effort, the at least one armature biasing member and the at least one journal friction spring biasing the housing in the same direction.

VEHICLE SEAT HEADREST WITH LEVER RELEASE
A vehicle headrest includes a carriage with support rods, an outer headrest connected to the carriage, a vertical locking arrangement with a locking element having a locked state and a released state relative to a support rod locking interface. Release levers, accessible from respective sides, move essentially along a vehicle direction of travel. Release carriers, moveably mounted to the carriage, moves essentially along a vehicle inboard/outboard direction and moves the locking element into the released state. Each release linkage activates the movement of the release carrier. The headrest also includes a forward and rearward locking arrangement for movement of the outer headrest relative to the carriage with support rods with at least some forward and/or rearward movement component. The movement arrangement, for movement of the outer headrest relative to the carriage, does not interrupt the release linkage connection for activating the movement of the release carrier.

HEADREST FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
The invention relates to a headrest having two rods (2), at least one having a locking detents, a housing with two channels and two sets of bearings, each set comprising a top bearing and a bottom bearing. Each bearing set is mounted in a corresponding channel by fitting these bearings into receptacles The bearings have openings in which the rod can slide and a locking device for locking the housing relative to the rods in a plurality of vertical positions. The device includes at least one locking projection movable relative to the housing between a locking position and an unlocking position. The two rods are part of a frame formed by a metal tube bent to take the general shape of an inverted U with the rods corresponding to the legs of the U.
Device for the variable fixing of a headrest to a seat of a vehicle
A device for the variable fixing of a headrest to a vehicle seat, having a receptacle (1), which forms a receiving space (5) for receiving a headrest support (6), and having a locking rocker (7) which, by means of an actuation movement of an actuation element (11), can be rotated from a locking position, in which a locking section (18) of the locking rocker (7) projects into the receiving space, into a release position, in which the locking section (18) does not project into the receiving space or projects into the receiving space (5) to a lesser extent than in the locking position, is characterized in that the direction of the actuation movement is not oriented perpendicular to the axis of rotation (25) about which the locking rocker (7) is rotatable.
