STOWABLE HEADREST ASSEMBLY
A headrest assembly is provided herein. A headrest is coupled to a seatback. The seatback includes a housing. The headrest is movable between a first position wherein the headrest is exposed above the seatback, and a second position wherein the headrest is concealed within the housing. A top of the headrest is flush with a top of the seatback while in the second position.
SEAT HAVING A BACKREST AND A HEAD RESTRAINT
A seat (1, 1, 1) having a seat part (2), a backrest (3, 3, 3) and a head restraint (4). The backrest (3, 3, 3) is pivotable between a seat position (Si) and a forwardly folded position (S2) by a backrest adjustment unit (8), and the head restraint (4) is adjustable between a use position (K1) and a non-use position (K2) by the backrest adjustment unit (8) firstly opening a rotary fitting (32) or a latching fitting (26) of the backrest (3, 3, 3) and secondly adjusting the backrest (3, 3, 3) between the seat position (Si) and the forwardly folded position (S2), and, during pivoting of the backrest (3, 3, 3) from the seat position (S1) into the forwardly folded position (S2), the head restraint (4) is adjusted by an adjustment drive (9) into the non-use position (K2).
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes an upper seatbase pivotably coupled to a lower seatbase at a front end by a front hinge. The lower seatbase is slidably coupled to a rail. A seatback is pivotably coupled to a rear end of the upper seatbase by a rear hinge.
System for folding seats in a vehicle
A system for changing rear seat positions in a vehicle between deployed and folded configurations. The system comprises means to effect the steps of initiating a movement of the rear seating and, after initiation, moving the front seat so that collision between the seating is avoided. The front seat is returned to its previous position, or as near as possible thereto, afterwards. The system includes means to detect the position of the seating and to calculate whether a collision will occur, and automatically to effect the requisite movements of the front seating to avoid the collision.

Vehicle seat having a drive for backrest and head-restraint adjustment
A vehicle seat is provided. The vehicle seat comprises at least one backrest which is pivotally mounted relative to a seating surface of the vehicle seat; a backrest adjusting mechanism and a drive for pivoting the backrest; and at least one headrest on the backrest, which by means of a headrest adjusting mechanism is adjustable in its height relative to the backrest at least along a direction of longitudinal extension of the backrest. It is provided that beside the backrest adjusting mechanism the drive is coupled with the headrest adjusting mechanism, in order to simultaneously transmit an adjustment force to the headrest adjusting mechanism when the backrest is pivoted in at least one backrest adjustment direction. In addition, there is proposed a backrest module with a drive which beside a backrest adjusting mechanism is coupled with a headrest adjusting mechanism.

CABLE ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE SEAT HEADREST
A cable assembly for folding vehicle seats having a folding headrest that folds as the seat back is moved to a folded positon. A cable interconnects a headrest folding mechanism with a stationary component whereby movement of the seat back shifts the cable. The cable assembly includes first and second portions that are interconnected by an adjuster rod and a retainer. The adjuster rod and retainer permit interconnection of the first and second cable segments upon assembly of the headrest with the seat back in a manner that permits taking up slack in the cable assembly.
