Headrest
A headrest includes a headrest body which is tiltably supported by a stay held on a seat back, a lock part which locks the headrest body in a non-tiltable manner, and a lock release part which releases lock of the lock part. The lock release part includes an operation button to be pressed, a biasing member which biases the operation button in an opposite direction to a pressing direction of the operation button, and a bezel which has a cylinder wall and a bottom wall for containing the operation button to be movable back and forth in the pressing direction, and is provided with a locking part which locks the operation button biased by the biasing member to hold the operation button in the cylinder wall. The locking part is provided in the bottom wall.

A vehicle headrest includes a carriage with support rods, an outer headrest connected to the carriage, a vertical locking arrangement with a locking element having a locked state and a released state relative to a support rod locking interface. Release levers, accessible from respective sides, move essentially along a vehicle direction of travel. Release carriers, moveably mounted to the carriage, moves essentially along a vehicle inboard/outboard direction and moves the locking element into the released state. Each release linkage activates the movement of the release carrier. The headrest also includes a forward and rearward locking arrangement for movement of the outer headrest relative to the carriage with support rods with at least some forward and/or rearward movement component. The movement arrangement, for movement of the outer headrest relative to the carriage, does not interrupt the release linkage connection for activating the movement of the release carrier.
VEHICLE SEAT HEADREST WITH LEVER RELEASE
A vehicle headrest includes a carriage with support rods, an outer headrest connected to the carriage, a vertical locking arrangement with a locking element having a locked state and a released state relative to a support rod locking interface. A vehicle head restraint assembly includes a base portion coupleable to a vehicle seat back, the base portion including a cross member portion. Also included is a head restraint operatively coupled to the cross member portion and rotatable about the cross member portion. Further included is a helical drive assembly for translating the head restraint during rotation of the head restraint.

The lock is selectively pivotally moveable between positions of engagement with, and disengagement from, the stationary hub. The position of engagement is characterized in that the core portion is fixed relative to the stationary hub and at least one support, and the position of disengagement is characterized in that the core portion is pivotally moveable relative to the stationary hub and at least one support.

A head restraint assembly for a seat, the assembly including: At least one support for mounting a bun assembly above the seat back; a bun assembly including a core portion, the core portion having integral first bearing surfaces; a stationary hub mounted on the at least one support, the stationary hub disposed at least substantially within the core portion and pivotally supporting the core portion via the integral first bearing surfaces; and a lock pivotally supported within the core portion. CABLE ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE SEAT HEADREST
A cable assembly for folding vehicle seats having a folding headrest that folds as the seat back is moved to a folded positon. A cable interconnects a headrest folding mechanism with a stationary component whereby movement of the seat back shifts the cable. The cable assembly includes first and second portions that are interconnected by an adjuster rod and a retainer. The adjuster rod and retainer permit interconnection of the first and second cable segments upon assembly of the headrest with the seat back in a manner that permits taking up slack in the cable assembly.
