Headrest
A headrest has a base carrying the headrest on a seat, a head piece forming an abutment for a head, and a four-bar linkage including a first link and at least one second link therebehind in a direction of displacement. Each link is secured at one pivot with the base and at another pivot with the head piece such that the head piece is movable by the four-bar linkage relative to the base between a first end position and a second end position. An adjuster can alter and/or arrest the relative position between one of the links and the head piece, or between one of the links and the base. This adjuster has a first slotted link fixed on one of the first and second links, a second slotted link fixed on the head piece or the base, and a slide block engaged in slots of the first and second slotted links.
Headrest Controlling Apparatus
The present invention relates to a headrest controlling apparatus, and more particularly, to a headrest controlling apparatus which includes a first fixing member installed on a first member, and a second fixing member installed in the second member to slide in a lateral direction and configured to fix a position of the headrest, wherein one of the first fixing member and the second fixing member includes a fixing groove formed in a lateral direction, the other one includes a fixing protrusion which is inserted into the fixing groove, and the second fixing member includes a first fixing member insertion groove formed to pass therethrough in a rotational direction of the second member so that the first fixing member is inserted thereinto, and thus has a simplified structure, and the first fixing member is fitted onto the first fixing member insertion groove when an occupant pushes the second fixing member to fold a headrest, and thus, convenience of use can be increased by not continuously pushing the second fixing member.

HEADREST FOR A SEAT
A headrest for a seat having a backrest frame and a base. The headrest includes a displacement member mountable to the backrest frame to position a lower end of the displacement member in front of the backrest frame and above the base. The displacement member is displaceable relative to the backrest frame to adjust a height of the headrest. A tilt member extends between a pivot end pivotably mounted to the displacement member at a joint, and a head support end disposed above the pivot end to support a rear portion of the head. The joint defines a pivot axis and is positioned in front of the backrest frame and above the base. The tilt member is pivotable about the pivot axis to displace the head support end toward and away from the displacement member.
Headrest of a vehicle seat
A headrest (1) of a vehicle seat includes a first head support device (1) and a second head support device (1). The headrest includes a tilting device (7) for tilting the first head support device (1) relative to the second head support device (1). The headrest (1) includes a height adjusting device (9) for adjusting the height of the first head support device (1) relative to the second head support device (1). A vehicle seat is also provided including an arm rest and a device.
