Each of a pair of (left and right) lamp modules is equipped with a first lamp unit having four first light sources and a second lamp unit having a single second light source, and a horizontally long first light distribution pattern or part of it is formed by selectively lighting one or more of the four first light sources. Furthermore, a second light distribution pattern that is smaller and brighter than the first light distribution pattern is formed by lighting the second light source. The first light distribution pattern and the second light distribution pattern are combined, whereby a high-luminous-intensity region is formed as an overlap of them. The first lamp unit and the second lamp unit are configured so as to be able to swing in a horizontal plane so that the high-luminous-intensity region can be shifted in the left-right direction according to a vehicle running situation.

LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
20220032838 · 2022-02-03 · ·

A motor vehicle lighting device that includes a means for emitting a first cut-off light beam along an optical axis where the cut-off is a substantially horizontal line that includes a cut where the cut extends in a coordinate system formed by a horizontal reference axis (HR) that is parallel to a first horizontal axis (HI) passing through the substantially horizontal line; and a vertical reference axis (VR) that is perpendicular to the horizontal reference axis (HR) and to an optical axis; where the optical axis passes through the coordinate system's center; Also is included a means for emitting a second light beam that is horizontally divided into a multitude of selectively activated light segments where the light segments illuminate a zone located astride of the first horizontal axis (HI) that is characterized by the cut, which includes a proximal longitudinal end along the horizontal reference axis (HR) between 1.25° and 1.5° or between −1.25° and −1.5° and which includes a lower vertical end along the vertical reference axis (VR) at a height of −0.75° or below.

METHOD AND ELECTROMECHANICAL DEVICE FOR STABILIZING A MOTORCYCLE FRONT LIGHTING
20170225735 · 2017-08-10 ·

Method and electromechanical device (1) for stabilizing the front lighting of a motorcycle provided with a front lighting device (2). The electromechanical device (1) comprises a sensor set (3) for detecting the lateral tilting angle experienced by the motorcycle on taking a curve and a motor (4) to drive the gear system (8). The gear system (8) forces the lighting device (2) to turn a rotation angle that compensates the lateral tilting experienced by the motorcycle. In this way, by means of the electromechanical device (1) of the invention, an appropriate distribution of the front lighting of the motorcycle is maintained throughout the entire straight-line or curvilinear path, without the need to add additional lighting devices and in accordance with the prevailing regulation regarding front lighting devices.
