A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head that includes a mirror reflective element and a mounting base configured for attachment at a side of a vehicle. The mirror head is movable relative to the mounting base between an extended position and a folded position. A pivot assembly includes (i) a pivot post fixed relative to the mounting base, (ii) a housing portion pivotable about the pivot post, and (iii) a biasing element disposed at the pivot post between the housing portion and an end of the pivot post, the biasing element urging a detent interface into engagement. The detent interface moves into engagement to secure the mirror head in the extended or folded position. The biasing element includes first and second coil portions having overlapping and alternating coil patterns.
VEHICULAR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY WITH CAMERAS
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head accommodating a mirror reflective element. The mirror head is adjustably mounted at a mounting base configured for attachment at a side of a vehicle. A plurality of cameras are disposed at the mounting base and includes (i) a rearward viewing camera that views at least rearward of the vehicle and (ii) a downward viewing camera that views at least downward. The mirror head accommodates an electronic accessory. A wire harness passing through the mounting base to the mirror head includes individual wires that terminate at respective first, second, and third electrical connectors. The accessory is electrically connected to a power source of the vehicle via the first connector. The rearward and downward viewing cameras respectively connect to the second and third connectors to receive electrical power from the power source and provide image data to an electronic control unit.

A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head accommodating a mirror reflective element. The mirror head is adjustably mounted at a mounting base configured for attachment at a side of a vehicle. A plurality of cameras are disposed at the mounting base and includes (i) a rearward viewing camera that views at least rearward of the vehicle and (ii) a downward viewing camera that views at least downward. The mirror head accommodates an electronic accessory. The present disclosure refers to a gear assembly (502) for an actuator (400), comprising a gear assembly (502) having a secondary tilt gear (620) and a secondary fold gear (622); wherein said secondary tilt gear (620) comprises a first spur gear portion (902), a first worm gear portion (904), and a first transition point (906), wherein said first transition point (906) divides said secondary tilt gear (620) into said first spur gear portion (902) and said first worm gear portion (904); wherein said secondary fold gear (622) comprises a second spur gear portion (912), a second worm gear portion (914), and a second transition point (916), wherein said second transition point (916) divides said secondary fold gear (622) into said second spur gear portion (912) and said second worm gear portion (914); and wherein said second worm gear portion (914) and said second spur gear portion (912) are formed as a single element. FOLDING ACTUATOR COVER ASSEMBLY
A folding actuator cover assembly (100) comprises at least a first cover component (110) in a first plane (P1) and having a first receiving portion (120) for receiving a first driving mechanism for rotating the first cover component (110) with respect to a vehicle body portion (10), and a second cover component (130) in a second plane (P2) for attaching a mirror pane (190) of a rear-view system (150). The first plane (P1) is at an angle of 70-110° with respect to the second plane (P2). The second cover component (130) is configured as an extension of the first cover component (110).
FOLDING ACTUATOR COVER ASSEMBLY
A folding actuator cover assembly (100) comprises at least a first cover component (110) in a first plane (P1) and having a first receiving portion (120) for receiving a first driving mechanism for rotating the first cover component (110) with respect to a vehicle body portion (10), and a second cover component (130) in a second plane (P2) for attaching a mirror pane (190) of a rear-view system (150). The first plane (P1) is at an angle of 70-110° with respect to the second plane (P2). The second cover component (130) is configured as an extension of the first cover component (110).
EXTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLES
An exterior rearview mirror assembly for vehicles includes a fixed part configured to be attached to an exterior part of a vehicle, a movable part mounted at the fixed part and rotatable relative to the fixed part about a first axis X1, and a mirror head including a mirror housing and a mirror reflective surface. The mirror head is mounted at the movable part, such that the mirror head and the movable part are jointly rotatable about the first axis X1. The mirror head can tilt or rotate relative to the movable part, about a tilting point or second axis X2 to adjust a rear field of view when the assembly is operatively attached to a vehicle.

An exterior rearview mirror assembly for vehicles includes a fixed part configured to be attached to an exterior part of a vehicle, a movable part mounted at the fixed part and rotatable relative to the fixed part about a first axis X1, and a mirror head including a mirror housing and a mirror reflective surface.
