Steering wheel
An airbag device is moved toward mounting portions and pins are inserted into insertion holes. Slopes at the distal end of each pin come into contact with a locking bar, so that the locking bar rotates and enters a longitudinal groove. When the locking bar approaches a back surface of the longitudinal groove, the locking member is rotated by an urging force of the coil spring and enters lateral grooves. Thus, the airbag device is mounted on a steering wheel body.
DRIVER AIRBAG APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a driver airbag apparatus for a vehicle, the apparatus having a configuration in which a driver airbag module (20) is mounted on a hub (12) of a steering wheel (10) and a display (30) is mounted on a front side of the airbag module (20), wherein an airbag cover (400) is lift-opened upward by deployment pressure of an airbag cushion (200), an opening angle of the airbag cover (400) is limited by a configuration of an opening angle limiter (500) provided in an airbag housing (100) and the airbag cover (400), and deployment direction of the airbag cushion (200) is controlled by the airbag cover (400) having a limited opening angle so that that airbag cushion may avoid the display (30) and deploy toward the driver through a space (13) between the display (30) and a rim (11) of the steering wheel (10).
DRIVER AIR BAG APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A driver airbag apparatus for a vehicle is proposed. The driver airbag apparatus includes: the driver airbag apparatus being located at rear of a steering wheel having an obstacle and configured to be deployed forward of the steering wheel while avoiding the obstacle, an airbag cushion configured to be deployed forward of the steering wheel via a gap between the obstacle and the steering wheel when gas is supplied thereinto; a gas injector located below the airbag cushion and configured to inject the gas into the airbag cushion via a gas outlet; and a diffuser configured to be deployed in the airbag cushion, and covering a part or all of the gas outlet from above the gas outlet and being open at a front portion thereof so as to guide the gas injected via the gas outlet to flow in front of an occupant.
Device for removably mounting an airbag module
A device for removably mounting an airbag module includes at least two hooks connected to one of the airbag module or the steering wheel. The hooks cooperate with insertion elements located on the other of the airbag module or the steering wheel. A resilient ring forms elements for holding the hooks in zones of interaction. The resilient ring includes: first portions that extend in the interaction zones, and a second portion. The mounting device further includes elements for guiding the resilient ring that cause displacement of the first portions out of the zones of interaction, during displacement of the second portion in a direction away from an axis of rotation of the steering wheel.
DEVICE FOR REMOVABLY MOUNTING AN AIRBAG MODULE
The invention relates to a motor vehicle steering wheel comprising a device for removably mounting an airbag module on the steering wheel, the mounting device comprising at least two hooks linked to either the airbag module or the steering wheel, first portions extending into the interaction zones to form the means for holding the hooks guiding elements forming two distinct removal paths for guiding a removal tool, the steering wheel comprising a single removal opening for insertion of the removal tool along the two removal paths.
VEHICLE STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY HAVING A VEHICLE STEERING WHEEL OF THIS KIND
The invention relates to a vehicle steering wheel (10) having a steering wheel axis (A) about which the vehicle steering wheel (10) can be rotated in the installed state, a steering wheel carcass (12) which has a hub section (14) in the region of the steering wheel axis (A), and a separate latching peg (18) for latching with an airbag module (20), which extends in the axial direction (22) and can be mounted on the steering wheel carcass (12), wherein the hub section (14) of the steering wheel carcass (12) has a rigid carcass hook (24) for latching with the airbag module (20), which extends in the axial direction (22), wherein the latching peg (18) adjoins the carcass hook (24) and partially surrounds same in the circumferential direction. The invention also relates to a steering wheel assembly having a vehicle steering wheel (10) of this kind.
Knee airbag for vehicles
A knee airbag for vehicles is provided. The knee airbag includes a lower crash pad that has a panel shape to block a steering column to prevent exposure of the steering column to an indoor space of a vehicle, and includes a housing unit having recesses dented toward the steering column such that the housing unit is spaced apart from the steering column by a designated distance. An airbag module of the knee airbag includes an inflator and a cushion and contained in the housing unit of the lower crash pad to deploy the cushion toward a driver's knee outside the lower crash pad when the cushion is deployed by explosion of the inflator.
Airbag device for driver's seat
An airbag device for a driver's seat may include: a housing mounted on a steering part; an inflator mounted on the housing; and a cushion accommodated in the housing, deployed by gas supplied from the inflator, and having a cushion front part and a cushion rear part, wherein the cushion front part is configured such that an upper portion thereof is expanded and deployed and deployment of a lower portion thereof is partially restricted when the cushion is deployed, and the cushion rear part is disposed opposite the cushion front part to partially restrict the deployment of the lower portion of the cushion front part.
Asymmetric airbag assembly for steering wheel assembly
An airbag module assembly for mounting to a steering wheel assembly has an airbag, a housing and a visual display unit. The housing has a chamber for stowing the airbag. The housing has an attachment for rigidly fixing to a steering wheel and a forward-facing opening of the chamber for receiving the airbag. The cover encloses the housing and stowed airbag. The housing is fixed to the steering wheel offset and positioned removed from a center region of the steering wheel spaced from a rim of the steering wheel. The airbag module is configured upon deployment to have the inflated airbag project outward over the rim toward an occupant.
Airbag holding cover and vehicle airbag device
A retaining cover that encapsulates a cushion which is stowed in a bulk stowed form in front of the regular seating position of the vehicle having a side surface retaining part wound around a side surface of the cushion in stowed form, a cloth-like part provided in a manner traversing vertically across the upper surface of the cushion in stowed form, and a weak part provided at a prescribed location on the cloth-like part that divides the cloth-like part to an upper piece and lower piece due to the expansion pressure of the cushion. If the cushion expands and deploys with the occupant in close proximity, the upper piece of the cloth-like part is sandwiched in between the cushion and the occupant, such that the upper piece restrains the upward deployment of the cushion.
