DRIVER AIRBAG COVER WITH EMBLEM
A side airbag cover (20) having a top surface (22) upon which can be positioned a decorative emblem (30), the top surface (20) and emblem (30) are configured to break when subjected to a determinable force pressuring on an undersurface (25) of the cover (20), the undersurface (25) including a tear seam (40) which breaks when subjected to a determinable pressure or load, the emblem (30) having its own tear seam (50), wherein the emblem tear seam (50) is displaced laterally relative to an adjacent portion of the tear seam (40).
Airbag module with a cover bearing a manufacturer emblem
An airbag module (10) with a housing (11) accommodating a gas generator (12) and a folded airbag (13) whose deployment opening (14) is closed before activation of the airbag (10) by a cover (15) fixed on the housing (11) by at least one predetermined breaking point (18) and to secure the opened cover (15) on the housing (11). An arrester strap (20) is positioned in a displaceable manner between the cover (15) and the housing (11). The cover (15) bearing a manufacturer emblem (17) on its exterior is secured on the housing (11) by means of a hinge (19) and the arrester strap (20) is attached by its one end (22) to a part affixed to the housing and encloses at least an area of the cover (15) or the manufacturer emblem (17) in a loop (27).
Airbag Covering and Method for Producing Same
An airbag covering with a covering element (20) with an upper side and a lower side and at least two axially extending openings (22) from an upper end to a lower end, and with an emblem or design element on the covering element (20). The design element has at least two fastening pins (34) extending in the axial direction from the emblem section (32) through one opening (22). The fastening pin (34) has a thickened head (36) produced by thermal deformation. At least sections of the contact surface (38) of the head (36), which contact surface (38) faces the lower side of the covering element, do not extend perpendicularly to the axial direction.
Luminous logo and manufacturing method therefore
The present invention relates to the technical field of automobile logos, and provides a luminous logo and a manufacturing method therefor. The luminous logo comprises: a logo body, which is provided with a plurality of protruding portions; a plurality of optical fibre bundles arranged to form an optical fibre structure matching the logo body in shape, the optical fibre structure being evenly overmoulded inside the logo body, and an end of each optical fibre bundle extending from one of the protruding portions; and a light-emitting light source detachable relative to the logo body, the extended ends of the plurality of optical fibre bundles being gathered and connected to the light-emitting light source. According to the present invention, optical fibres are embedded into a logo body, an end of each optical fibre extends from a respective protruding portion of the logo body and is connected to a detachable light source, thereby realizing luminescence of the logo and facilitating assembly of the logo.
STEERING DEVICE PAD
A steering device pad is disposed on an upper face of a boss portion in a steering device, and a design portion is disposed in a region of a ceiling wall portion covering the boss portion. The steering device pad includes a pad body and a light source unit disposed on a back face of a ceiling wall portion of the pad body. The ceiling wall portion includes a low translucent portion and a high translucent portion having different light transmittances. The high translucent portion constitutes the design portion so as to be configured to transmit light emitted from the light source unit.
Airbag cover assembly including a lighting module
An airbag cover assembly includes an airbag cover coupled to a steering wheel; and a lighting module disposed in the airbag cover. The lighting module includes a housing coupled to the airbag cover, and a light source unit coupled to the housing. The housing is disposed in the airbag cover and includes partition walls that divide an internal space of the airbag cover to define slots independently of or together with the airbag cover.

Coupling elements for emblem assemblies
Locking pieces, such as clips, for decorative emblems and emblem assemblies, along with related methods. In some embodiments, a locking piece for coupling an emblem assembly to an airbag assembly may comprise a tapering slot narrowing in width, at least in part, from a first end of the tapering slot to a second end of the tapering slot defining a first fastener seat configured to engage a first fastener extending from a decorative emblem. The locking piece may further comprise a second fastener seat configured to resiliently engage, such as by way of a resiliently flexible prong, a second fastener extending from the decorative emblem and, in some embodiments, a third fastener seat configured to resiliently engage a third fastener extending from the decorative emblem.
Cover finish assembly
A cover finish assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a cover part of which a front portion is covered with leather and in which an insertion hole is formed, a cap part which is inserted into the insertion hole from a front surface of the cover part and corresponds to an edge shape of the insertion hole, and an insertion part inserted into the cap part from a back surface of the cover part after the cap part is inserted into the insertion hole so that a front portion of the insertion part is exposed, and the cap part may be disposed between the cover part and the insertion part to finish a boundary of a cover part.
