MOULDING ASSEMBLY FOR OBTAINING A DASHBOARD FOR A VEHICLE AND DASHBOARD OBTAINED
A moulding assembly includes a foaming mould having two parts which when assembled together define a moulding inner cavity; a furnishing front part and a support part of a dashboard having a first breakable flap for allowing the exit of a passenger airbag when inflated during a crash. The support part is attached to the first part of the mold and the furnishing front part is attached to the second part of the mold such that an inner space is defined between the support part and furnishing front part. The support part includes slots and the first part includes perforation tabs passing through the slots. The slots are distributed conforming a perforation web defining weakening lines around at least a part of an outline of the first breakable flap of the support part and a longitudinal length of the perforation tabs is greater than the depth of the slots.
AUTOMOTIVE CRASH PAD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
An automotive crash pad and a method for manufacturing the same. The automotive crash pad includes: a skin layer forming the outer surface of the crash pad including an airbag module; a fiber-based layer formed on the lower surface of the skin layer; a cushion layer formed on the lower surface of the fiber-based layer and including slab foam; and a core layer formed on the lower surface of the cushion layer, wherein a laminate of the skin layer and the fiber-based layer has a tensile strength in a transverse direction (TD) of 5 to 50 kgf/3 cm and an elongation at break in the transverse direction (TD) of 40 to 220%.
UNIVERSALLY USABLE DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A PREDETERMINED BREAKING LINE IN AN EQUIPMENT PART OF A VEHICLE
A universally usable device for producing a predetermined breaking line in an equipment part of a vehicle. The device includes a laser beam generator, a laser scanner and a linear or matrix-shaped first sensor arrangement with first individual sensors of an identical first sensitivity and at least one identical linear or matrix-shaped second sensor arrangement of second individual sensor, which is arranged with an offset to the first sensor arrangement of first individual sensors, and the second individual sensors have an identical second sensitivity which differs from the first sensitivity.
Airbag Cover of a Vehicle
An airbag cover of a vehicle includes a support having at least one predeterminable breaking line that is breakable by an airbag, a transparent upper layer on the support, and at least one film positioned between the support and the transparent upper layer.
OCCUPANT PROTECTION DEVICE
An occupant protecting device provided inside or below a seat cushion of a vehicle seat, including an airbag cushion, an inflator, and a cover that covers at least a portion of the airbag cushion and is capable of being cleaved opened by the expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion. The airbag cushion has front and rear attaching points attached to the vehicle seat side as well as an expanding and deploying part that at least expands and deploys between the front and rear attaching points. The cover has a weak portion that serves as a starting point when cleaved open by expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion and is arranged on a rearward side. The cover covers the front attaching points side of the expanding and deploying part and is attached to the vehicle seat on the front attaching points side.
OCCUPANT PROTECTION DEVICE
An occupant protecting device provided inside or below a seat cushion of a vehicle seat, including an airbag cushion, an inflator, and a cover that covers at least a portion of the airbag cushion and is capable of being cleaved opened by the expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion. The airbag cushion has front and rear attaching points attached to the vehicle seat side as well as an expanding and deploying part that at least expands and deploys between the front and rear attaching points. The cover has a weak portion that serves as a starting point when cleaved open by expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion and is arranged on a rearward side. The cover covers the front attaching points side of the expanding and deploying part and is attached to the vehicle seat on the front attaching points side.
AIRBAG COVER
An airbag cover includes a base material, a retainer, an airbag cover main body, and a flexible skin layer. The door portion includes a door constituent portion of the base material, and a door support portion provided in the retainer and holding the door constituent portion. The retainer includes the door support portion, a peripheral edge portion disposed around the door support portion, and a substantially flat plate-shaped hinge portion disposed between the peripheral edge portion and the door support portion and bendable when the door portion is opened. The base material is provided with a space portion at a disposition portion of the hinge portion of the retainer, and the hinge portion is a non-disposition portion of the base material. A region of the hinge portion includes two layers of the hinge portion of the retainer and the skin layer bonded to the hinge portion.
AIRBAG COVER
An airbag cover includes a base material, a retainer, an airbag cover main body, and a flexible skin layer. The door portion includes a door constituent portion of the base material, and a door support portion provided in the retainer and holding the door constituent portion. The retainer includes the door support portion, a peripheral edge portion disposed around the door support portion, and a substantially flat plate-shaped hinge portion disposed between the peripheral edge portion and the door support portion and bendable when the door portion is opened. The base material is provided with a space portion at a disposition portion of the hinge portion of the retainer, and the hinge portion is a non-disposition portion of the base material. A region of the hinge portion includes two layers of the hinge portion of the retainer and the skin layer bonded to the hinge portion.
Airbag cover
A breakable portion breaks, as a break start point portion, a portion in a vicinity of a center of a tip end side of a door portion away from a hinge portion on a rotation center side of the door portion when the door portion is opened. A breakable coupling portion in an area of the start point portion is disposed such that a width dimension between the breakable openings which are adjacent to each other in a plan view on a tip end portion away from the hinge portion is smaller than a width dimension on a base portion close to the hinge portion of the door portion.
Airbag cover
A breakable portion breaks, as a break start point portion, a portion in a vicinity of a center of a tip end side of a door portion away from a hinge portion on a rotation center side of the door portion when the door portion is opened. A breakable coupling portion in an area of the start point portion is disposed such that a width dimension between the breakable openings which are adjacent to each other in a plan view on a tip end portion away from the hinge portion is smaller than a width dimension on a base portion close to the hinge portion of the door portion.
