A side air bag device is described which is disposed in a space between a vehicle body and a back seat and for which rigidity of attachment to a vehicle body member is improved. The side air bag device provided between a vehicle body and a back seat includes: a base member including a base storage configured to store an air bag and an inflator and a base attachment portion attached to the vehicle body; and a retainer member configured to hold the base storage from a vehicle back side. The retainer member extends from a portion holding the base storage while being bent along the shape of the vehicle body. The retainer member is attached to the vehicle body together with the base attachment portion while being overlapped with the base attachment portion.

The invention relates to an airbag module comprising a housing (14) for an airbag (16) and a cover (12), the housing including a fabric part (14) which at least partly encloses the airbag (16), characterized in that means (20; 30; 60) for fastening the housing (14) which are formed integrally with the cover (12) are provided and in that the fabric part (14) is arranged directly on the fastening means (20; 30; 60).

A gas generator (10) comprises an outer housing, which has at (east two housing parts (12), which are connected to each other, in the form of a diffuser bowl (14) with outflow openings (16) towards the outside and a cover (20) directly connected to the diffuser bowl (14). Inside the gas generator (10), at least one first and one second combustion chamber (30, 36) are provided, wherein the first combustion chamber (30) is delimited by an inner wall (32) and the second combustion chamber (36) is located within the space delimited by the diffuser bowl (14) and the cover (20). The diffuser bowl (14) and/or the cover (20) comprise a section (24) that is shaped, in particular deep-drawn, into an indentation, forming at least partially a circumferential section of the inner wall (32).

A vehicle trim component and a production process for the component. The trim component includes: a thermocompressed support panel provided with an opening and a peripheral edge surrounding the opening; an airbag guiding part having a channel arranged in the opening of the support panel, a flap at least partially closing a first end of the channel, and a collar arranged around the channel in the extension of the flap; and a reinforcing frame suited to fix the position of the guiding part relative to the support panel. The peripheral edge of the support panel is attached against the collar, and the reinforcing frame is a part brought in and force fit around the channel and fixed to the peripheral edge of the support panel.
