Roof mounted airbag
A roof mounted airbag is proposed. The roof mounted airbag includes: a fixed chamber having an upper portion fixed to a roof of a vehicle and configured to be expanded downward when gas is supplied into the fixed chamber; a first separated chamber connected to the fixed chamber, having an inside that communicates with an inside of the fixed chamber to be supplied with the gas from the fixed chamber, and configured to be expanded downward when the gas is supplied into the first separated chamber; and a second separated chamber connected to the fixed chamber while being spaced apart from the first separated chamber, having an inside that communicates with the inside of the fixed chamber to be supplied with the gas from the fixed chamber, and configured to be expanded downward when the gas is supplied into second separated chamber.
Roof air bag apparatus for vehicle
A roof air bag apparatus for a vehicle includes a roof air bag cushion protecting a passenger, and the roof air bag cushion can be separated into a front air bag cushion and a rear air bag cushion. In particular, the front air bag cushion and the rear air bag cushion are unfolded into a space between a front passenger and a rear passenger in a face-to-face mode at the time of occurrence of a car accident, such that the unfolded front air bag cushion protects the front passenger by absorbing an impact force, and the unfolded rear air bag cushion protects the rear passenger by absorbing an impact force.
CENTER AIRBAG APPARATUS
A center airbag apparatus may include: an inflator mounted in an instrument panel and configured to inject gas; a first cushion part deployed by the gas injected from the inflator, and configured to support a driver airbag; and a second cushion part connected to the first cushion part, and configured to be deployed between the driver airbag and a passenger airbag to protrude toward the rear of a vehicle based on the driver airbag.
AIRBAG DEVICE
An airbag device provided with an airbag and inflator integrally covering the head and side sections of an occupant seated in a vehicle seat. The airbag, includes, during expansion and deployment, a head protecting chamber that covers the head of the occupant and side protecting chambers that cover the side sections of the occupant, and is stowed in a rolled state, for example, from a first side of the backrest of the vehicle seat to the second side over the upper portion. An additional folding part is provided on the outer periphery of the airbag extending from the attachment end side to the backrest so as to cover at least a part of the outer periphery of the airbag on the side opposite to the seated occupant.
Seat airbag for vehicle
The present invention relates to a seat airbag for a vehicle in which a side cushion 100 is deployed to protrude forward from a seatback 10 and protects the side of a passenger 20, a front cushion 200 is deployed to protrude from the side cushion 100 to the front of the passenger 20 and protects the front of the passenger 20, an upper tether 300 and a lower tether 400 exhibiting strong restraint force are connected to the side cushion 100 and the front cushion 200. Thus, it is possible to effectively restrain the passenger's lateral behavior, forward behavior, and diagonal behavior, thereby further enhancing the passenger's protective effect.
Roof-Mounted Type Airbag
An embodiment roof-mounted type airbag includes a housing to be mounted to a roof part, a center cushion foldable inside the housing and able to be vertically unfolded between facing seats of a vehicle, wherein the center cushion is pillar-shaped, a side cushion foldable inside the housing and able to be unfolded partially along a circumference of the center cushion, and an inflator connected to the center cushion or the side cushion.
Selectively inflated crossbar airbag
An assembly for a vehicle includes a first seat and a second seat. The assembly includes a crossbar positioned between the first seat and the second seat. The assembly includes an airbag supported by the crossbar. The assembly includes a controller programmed to position the crossbar in a raised position in response to a detected occupant egress.
CENTER AIRBAG DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A center airbag device may include: an inflator positioned between first and second seats, and generating an operating gas; a chamber part receiving the operating gas generated by the inflator, and expanding between the first and second seats; an internal tether part positioned in the chamber part, and connected to one or more of the top and side surfaces of the chamber part so as to control the deployment shape of the chamber part; and a locking release part connected to the internal tether part, and removing a restriction of the internal tether part according to a control signal.
Roof mounted airbag for protection of front row mid and outboard passengers in frontal, offset, and oblique crash modes
The present disclosure describes a roof-mounted airbag apparatus in a vehicle. The vehicle includes a roof, an instrument panel, and two passenger seats in a front row. The airbag apparatus includes an inflator and an airbag that is fluidly coupled to the inflator. The airbag is inflatable and deployable from the roof in an interior of the vehicle between the passenger seats and the instrument panel, and includes a cavity.
FAR-SIDE AIRBAG DEVICE
The far side airbag system has an airbag which is deployed and inflated between adjacent vehicle seats arranged side-by-side in the width direction when an impact is detected against one of a pair of side wall portions of the vehicle. The airbag includes an upper inflation portion having a portion deployed and inflated on a lateral side of a head portion of an occupant seated in the vehicle seat on a side farther from the specific side wall portion, and a lower inflation portion in which a portion including at least a lower end of the lower inflation portion is deployed and inflated between a console box arranged between the adjacent vehicle seats and the occupant. In the upper inflation portion, the portion positioned on the lateral side of the head portion is deployed and inflated such that a dimension in the width direction increases toward a front side.
