STEERING LOCK DEVICE
A steering lock device includes a trigger that is displaced as a frame cover drops from a frame, an auxiliary lock device that holds a lock member in a locked position as the trigger is displaced under condition that the lock member is positioned in the locked position, a housed component that is arranged in a housing chamber defined by the frame cover and the frame or in a guide hole, and a trigger coupling member that couples the housed component and the trigger. When the housed component is displaced, the trigger is displaced via the trigger coupling member.

When the housed components are displaced, the trigger is displaced via the trigger coupling member.
LOCKING DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR, FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A locking device including a blocking member movable between first and second positions for locking a component. In the first position, the blocking member (i) engages the component in a blocking manner and/or (ii) is brought into engagement with the component in a blocking manner. In the second position, the blocking member is not in engagement with the component. A drive element moves the blocking member between the two positions. The locking device also includes a securing mechanism for the blocking member that cooperates with the blocking member in the first position in the manner of a back pressure securing element for the blocking member for preventing manipulation, and also cooperates with the blocking member in the second position in the manner of a securing device for securing the blocking member in the second position against unintended movement into the first position.
Electric power-assisted steering apparatus and method of assembling the same
Provided is an electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) apparatus including a gear housing in which a nut coupler coupled with a ball nut through a bearing is formed and an accommodation portion is formed in an internal circumferential surface of the nut coupler, and a lock screw configured to have an external circumferential surface on which a screw portion is formed, coupled to the nut coupler, and supports the bearing, and to have a loosening preventer formed to protrude toward the accommodation portion after the screw portion is coupled to the nut coupler.
STEERING DEVICE
A steer-by-wire steering device includes a steering shaft 7; a rotation-restricting member A including an annular main cylindrical portion 1 mounted on the steering shaft 7 and at least one main ridge portion 2 formed on an outer periphery of the main cylindrical portion 1; an engagement member 6 configured to move in proximity to and away from the rotation-restricting member A; and a cushioning member B. The engagement member 6 and the at least one main ridge portion 2 are configured to come in contact with each other through the cushioning member B in conjunction with rotation of the steering shaft 7.
Lock for vehicle active front steering system
A system for a vehicle includes a gear and a plate fixed to the gear. The gear is driving by a motor for providing relative rotation between a steering wheel and steering shaft of the vehicle in an adaptive front steering system. The system includes a solenoid including a coil and a pin moveable relative to the coil to engage the plate based on a signal. A sensor is configured to detect a change in current through the coil associated with initial movement of the pin relative to the coil. The system includes a controller programmed to change the duty cycle signal in response to the change in current to slow movement of the pin to reduce or eliminate a clicking noise associated with the pin seating in an extended position or retracted position.
STEERING LOCK DEVICE
A steering lock device includes a motor configured to rotate a motor shaft, a worm attached to the motor shaft of the motor, a main gear configured to rotate along with rotation of the worm, a cam member integrally provided with the main gear, and a rod including an insertion and extraction portion. The insertion and extraction portion is configured to be inserted into and extracted from an opening provided on a steering shaft side in accordance with an operation of the cam member along with rotation of the main gear. At least a part of at least one member of the worm and the insertion and extraction portion is configured to be accommodated in a circumferential region of the main gear when the main gear is viewed in a plan view along a rotation axis direction of the main gear.
LOCK DEVICE
A lock device includes a locking member, a movable member, and a transmission mechanism. The locking member is moved between a lock position at which it locks a locking subject and an unlock position at which it unlocks the locking subject. The transmission mechanism transmits a drive force to the movable member and moves the movable member. A movement state of the movable member is shifted between a relative movement state in which it is moved relative to the locking member and an integral movement state in which it is moved together with the locking member to move the locking member toward the lock or unlock position. The lock device further includes a detector of which an output value varies in accordance with movement of the movable member or the transmission mechanism, and a controller that performs a failure determination based on a change in the output value.
Steering lock device
A steering lock device includes a position detector that detects a position of a lock member. The position detector includes a first unlock detecting portion of a digital output type that detects that the lock member is located in an unlock position and a second unlock detecting portion of an analog output type that detects that the lock member is located in an intermediate position, which is between a lock position and the unlock position. A position determination portion determines whether or not the lock member is located in the unlock position based on a detection signal of the first unlock detecting portion and a detection signal of the second unlock detecting portion, which has a parabolic output waveform that changes in accordance with movement of the lock member.
STEERING COLUMN WITH AN ELECTRICAL STEERING LOCK
A steering column for a motor vehicle may include a steering shaft that is rotatably mounted in a boxed swing arm, a latching element connected to the steering shaft in a torsion-resistant manner, a locking element that may be brought into engagement with the latching element for temporary blocking of the steering shaft, a sensor arrangement that detects a steering parameter such as an angle of rotation of the steering shaft or a torque acting on the steering shaft, and an electromechanical actuator for actuating the locking element depending on a control. The sensor arrangement may comprise first sensors for detecting the steering parameter and at least one second sensor for detecting a position of the locking element in a structural unit (13).
