Valve system and method for controlling same
A valve system includes an isolation check valve delivering pneumatic fluid as a supply pressure, a double-check valve adapted to deliver a braking demand control signal of the pneumatic fluid based on a higher of a first braking demand in a first pneumatic braking circuit and a second braking demand in a second pneumatic braking circuit, and a control module. The control module is adapted to receive the supply pressure as a control module supply pressure of the pneumatic fluid, receive a control module control pressure of the pneumatic fluid based on the braking demand control signal, and deliver a control module delivery pressure of the pneumatic fluid based on the control module supply pressure and the control module control pressure. A park control module selectively transmits the pneumatic fluid at the supply pressure based on a park brake control signal.
TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM
Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle-trailer combination, comprising: determining abase value for a temperature associated with the trailer brake system; determining coupling force between the vehicle and the trailer; determining a corrected value for the temperature associated with the trailer brake system in dependence on the determined coupling force; and controlling one or more components of the vehicle trailer combination in dependence on the corrected value.

Trailer Brake Control System
Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle-trailer combination. A HMI component used by the operator to provide a deceleration input to the trailer brake system is identified. Based on this a pressure level to be provided in one or more fluid lines of the trailer brake system is determined. A trailer brake signal for is generated and output controlling the trailer brake system to provide the determined pressure.
Electronic parking brake device and method for operating an electronic parking brake device
The present invention relates to an electronic parking brake device for a vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle. As a function of at least one operating state of a towing vehicle parking brake supply line and/or a trailer parking brake supply line, a towing vehicle parking brake control valve is activatable by a control unit in such a way that a towing vehicle parking brake supply line can be deaerated or aerated by the towing vehicle parking brake control valve. By manually actuating a trailer parking brake control element, a trailer parking brake control valve is activatable by the control unit in such a way that a trailer parking brake supply line can be deaerated or aerated by the trailer parking brake control valve. The present invention also relates to a method for operating the above electronic parking brake device for a vehicle.
Trailer Brake Control System
Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle-trailer combination. A coupling force between the vehicle and the trailer is determined and used to control operation of the trailer brake system in dependence thereon. A primary control strategy is used in dependence on the determined coupling force being within a coupling force range; and one or more secondary control strategies are used in dependence on the determined coupling force being outside of the coupling force range.
Trailer Brake Control System
Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle-trailer combination. Using a driver deceleration demand a pressure level and/or duration for a preliminary pressure peak to be provided in one or more fluid lines of the trailer brake system is determined. A trailer brake signal is generated for controlling the trailer brake system in accordance with the preliminary pressure peak.
TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM
Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle, comprising: determining a coupling force associated with a coupling point for providing a coupling between the vehicle and a trailer, determining, in dependence on the coupling force, the presence of a trailer coupled to the vehicle at the coupling point; and controlling one or more components of the vehicle in dependence on the determination of the presence of the trailer.

METHOD FOR ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLING A BRAKE UNIT IN AN AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLABLE UTILITY VEHICLE COMBINATION, AND ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLABLE BRAKE UNIT IN AN AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLABLE UTILITY VEHICLE COMBINATION
A method for electronically controlling a brake unit having two brake systems in an automatically controllable vehicle combination includes inputting a request signal for automatic electronic activation of service brakes in a tractor vehicle brake system of a tractor vehicle and/or a trailer brake system of a trailer of the vehicle combination, wherein an automatically requested vehicle setpoint acceleration and/or an automatically requested vehicle setpoint velocity to be implemented by the respective service brakes are transmitted via the request signal. The method further includes monitoring and checking plausibility of the request signal to establish whether the automatically requested vehicle setpoint acceleration and/or the automatically requested vehicle setpoint velocity are or can be implemented completely or faultlessly by the respective service brakes. The method additionally includes outputting a trailer redundancy control signal at the trailer brake system under certain conditions.
