A vacuum brake booster for a motor vehicle brake system, comprising a housing having axially opposing end wall regions which are connected together via a peripheral region, wherein the end wall regions each comprise at least one receiving opening for receiving components introducing braking force or releasing braking force, wherein at least one reinforcing rib is formed in at least one end wall region. According to the invention, the reinforcing rib extends outside of an inner circle arranged concentric to the receiving opening and spans an inner circle segment which encloses an angle of at least approximately 60 and at most approximately 180.
Brake booster
A pneumatic brake booster for a motor vehicle having a booster housing, the interior space of which is divided by at least one axially movable wall loadable with a pneumatic differential pressure into at least one working chamber and at least one vacuum chamber. The movable wall includes a diaphragm plate and a rolling diaphragm which is arranged sealingly between the booster housing and the control housing, having a control valve which controls the differential pressure, is arranged in the control housing, and which controls a connection of the working chamber to the vacuum chamber or atmosphere, having at least one extraction duct which is integrated into the control housing for connection of the vacuum chamber to the working chamber, wherein the extraction duct can be blocked by the control valve. A device is also provided between the vacuum chamber and working chamber to improve the noise behavior.
Brake booster
A pneumatic brake booster for a motor vehicle having a booster housing, the interior space of which is divided by at least one axially movable wall loadable with a pneumatic differential pressure into at least one working chamber and at least one vacuum chamber. The movable wall includes a diaphragm plate and a rolling diaphragm which is arranged sealingly between the booster housing and the control housing, having a control valve which controls the differential pressure, is arranged in the control housing, and which controls a connection of the working chamber to the vacuum chamber or atmosphere, having at least one extraction duct which is integrated into the control housing for connection of the vacuum chamber to the working chamber, wherein the extraction duct can be blocked by the control valve. A device is also provided between the vacuum chamber and working chamber to improve the noise behavior.

An engine is supported by the frame, the engine comprising an engine intake that includes an engine intake inlet. A brake assembly comprises a brake output member coupled to at least one ground engaging member of the plurality of ground engaging members, a master cylinder coupled to the brake output member, and a brake booster operably coupled to the master cylinder. Further, the brake booster comprising a body defining a fresh air intake, a conduit extending outwardly from the fresh air intake, and an inlet to the conduit positioned vertically above the brake booster.

A vacuum-operated brake booster includes a housing which consists of a bottom and a cover having an intermediate piston through which tubes, through which attachment screws are to pass, extend. The front end of the tube is threaded, and a peripheral groove is provided behind the thread, a flange being crimped in the groove behind the cover in the housing. The master cylinder is attached via the lugs thereof, which are fitted into the front end of the tube against the front surface of the cover and locked by the nut screwed onto the thread. The front end of the tube has a peripheral groove receiving the flange that consists of a ring and a sleeve, the lip of which penetrates into the groove by crimping. A gasket completes the seal.

A vacuum-operated brake booster includes a housing which consists of a bottom and a cover having an intermediate piston through which tubes, through which attachment screws are to pass, extend. The front end of the tube is threaded, and a peripheral groove is provided behind the thread, a flange being crimped in the groove behind the cover in the housing. The master cylinder is attached via the lugs thereof, which are fitted into the front end of the tube against the front surface of the cover and locked by the nut screwed onto the thread. The front end of the tube has a peripheral groove receiving the flange that consists of a ring and a sleeve, the lip of which penetrates into the groove by crimping. A gasket completes the seal.

The invention relates to a brake booster (10) for a motor vehicle brake system, comprising a force input member (12) that is or can be coupled to a brake pedal and can be moved along a movement axis (V), a control valve (14) that can be actuated according to a movement of the force input member (12), a chamber arrangement (20) that is disposed in a booster housing (18), can be controlled by the control valve (14), and is provided with at least one negative-pressure chamber (28, 30) and at least one working chamber (24, 26) which are separated from each other by at least one movable wall (32, 34) coupled to the control valve (14), and a force output member (42) for applying a braking force to a downstream master brake cylinder arrangement. The control valve (14) is biased in a starting position along with the force output member (42) by means of a restoring spring (48), a first end of which rests on the control valve (14). According to the invention, the booster housing (18) includes a receiving opening (50) for the downstream master brake cylinder arrangement (58), said opening (50) being provided with at least one axial guiding section (56) and at least one radial stop section (54) which are designed to support a second end of the restoring spring (48).
