Steering column with adjustment limit stop
A steering column having an adjustment limit stop device comprising a body receiving, in a deformable bearing, the sleeve carrying the steering wheel and a mechanism for clamping a shaft with a lever carrying a clamping device compressing the deformable bearing. The steering column comprises a stop device provided with a stop edge carried by the sleeve and with which a lock cooperates that limits the adjustment travel of the sleeve while being retracted after the adjustments of the column have been clamped, allowing the sleeve to travel, in the event of an impact on the steering wheel, in order to absorb the energy.
Steering column assembly
A steering column assembly comprises a mounting bracket (100), a steering column (200), a plurality of friction plates (300), a plurality of inner spacers (501), and a locking mechanism (400). The friction plates (300) are fixed to the steering column (200) and attached to a side of the mounting bracket (100). The friction plates (300) are movable with respect to the mounting bracket (100). The inner spacers (502) are interleaved with the plurality of friction plates (300). Each inner spacer (502) has a scored outer surface (540). The locking mechanism (400) is operable to press the inner spacers (501) and friction plates (300) together to lock the steering column (200) with respect to the mounting bracket (100).

Steering column
The invention relates to a steering column with adjustment of the longitudinal extension and the incline of the steering wheel, comprising a sleeve carried by a deformable bearing provided with a clamping mechanism consisting of a clamping axle. The deformable bearing has two side limbs that are connected by a cross-member formed by two inclined faces joined by a bottom. The two side limbs each form a first side support close to the end of the limb and the two inclined faces each form an inclined second side support located opposite the first side supports, the bottom forming an intermediate support between the two inclined side supports. The clamping axle passes through the end of the two side limbs, beyond the first two side supports.
Steering column for a motor vehicle
A steering column for a motor vehicle has an actuating unit that encloses a steering shaft that is rotatable about a rotation axis and which by way of the rear end region thereof that faces the rear of the vehicle is disposed so as to, by means of a first motorized drive, be vertically pivotable by way of an articulated pivot lever on a holding unit which is fastened to the vehicle chassis. The cost-effective attachment of the front end region of the steering column is improved in that the actuating unit in the front end region that faces the front of the vehicle is provided with an elastic bracket element which is fixedly connectable to the vehicle chassis and on account of an elastic deformation permits vertical pivoting as well as axial displacement of the actuating unit.
Steering device
Please substitute the new Abstract submitted herewith for the original Abstract: Provided is a steering device in which a pair of tension springs is arranged on both outer sides in the width direction of a pair of support plate portions of a support bracket. The pair of tension springs applies a force directed diagonally upward toward the front to a base portion of an adjustment lever and a pressing plate arranged at both end portions of an adjustment rod, and elastically presses the front side surface of an engaging convex portion of a driven-side cam against a front side edge of a long hole in the up-down direction.

STEERING COLUMN DEVICE
A steering column device includes a steering shaft; and a steering column. The steering column includes a housing, a cover, and a sealing member. The housing includes an inclined portion having an inclined surface with an inside diameter increasing from a first side to a second side, the inclined surface contacting the sealing member from the first side. The cover includes a facing portion having a facing surface contacting the sealing member from the second side, and an insertion portion having an outer peripheral surface contacting the sealing member from an inner peripheral side. The sealing member is accommodated in an accommodation space defined by the inclined surface, the facing surface, and the outer peripheral surface. An escape space continuous with the accommodation space is provided between the housing and the cover, the escape space being located closer to the first side than the inclined surface is.
GUIDANCE AND LIMITING UNIT SUBASSEMBLY FOR A STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY
A device for assembling a column tube in an adjustable steering column assembly, comprising a spacer portion adapted to provide rotational damping; provide damping during adjustment of the steering column assembly (e.g., telescope adjustment); and assist in centering the column tube when in an unlocked position and assist in resisting lash. The device may further comprise a stop bracket portion adapted to limit rotational travel of the column tube when in an unlocked position; and retain the column tube longitudinally within the steering column assembly.
ADJUSTMENT LEVER DECELERATION ASSEMBLY FOR A STEERING COLUMN
An adjustment lever deceleration assembly for a steering column includes an adjustment lever rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The adjustment lever deceleration assembly also includes a component positioned proximate the adjustment lever, the component rotating at a speed less than a rotational speed of the adjustment lever during adjustment between the locked position to the unlocked position. The adjustment lever deceleration assembly further includes an adjustment lever decelerator integrally formed with the adjustment lever, the adjustment lever decelerator positioned on the adjustment lever to contact the component during rotation of the adjustment lever toward the unlocked position, wherein the adjustment lever deflects and absorbs energy upon contact with the component.
