Rotating electrical machine apparatus
In a rotating electrical machine apparatus, a rotor portion provided in a cylindrical portion and a stator portion provided in a recessed portion in which the rotor portion is housed are aligned along the rotation axis of a rim such that a force is generated in a direction opposite to the direction of a load that acts along the rotation axis of the rim of loads that act on the rim following rotation of a blade.
Vessel propulsion apparatus and vessel including the same
A vessel propulsion apparatus includes a propulsive force generator including a duct and a propeller. The duct includes a stator. The propeller includes a rim that includes a rotor disposed at a position facing the stator, and a blade on an inner side in a radial direction of the rim. The vessel propulsion apparatus further includes a steering shaft that turnably supports the duct, a motor controller that rotationally drives an electric motor including the stator and the propeller in forward and reverse rotation directions, a turning mechanism that turns the duct in a full turning angle range including a range of 180 degrees, and a turning angle range limiter that limits a turning angle range of the turning mechanism to a reduced turning angle range narrower than the full turning angle range, and when a predetermined limitation cancellation condition is met, cancels the limitation and allows turning in a turning angle range wider than the reduced turning angle range.
Marine propulsion unit
A marine propulsion unit includes a duct including a stator, a propeller including a rim including a rotor disposed at a position that faces the stator and a blade provided radially inward of the rim, a steering shaft that supports the duct such that the duct is steerable, a casing provided separately from the steering shaft and that extends along a rotation axis of the propeller, and a motor controller disposed in the casing and configured or programmed to control rotational driving of the propeller.

ELECTRICAL UNDERWATER JET MOTOR WITH MULTIPLE STATOR FOR SEA VEHICLES
An electric underwater jet motor designed for vehicles traveling above or below the sea. The electric underwater jet motor includes a plurality of stators for marine crafts; at least one radial stator, at least one rotor, at least two impeller blades, a magnetic bearing; at least one permanent magnet bar; at least one axial stator, hydrodynamic bearing components, a motor housing and an engine fastener; a hydrodynamic jet motor housing; and a control unit including a microprocessor, a software, magnetic bearing distance sensors, counter and speed measurement sensors, gyroscopic balance sensors to provide comfortable travel by collected data to reduce an effect of sea currents and wave movements which are the consequences of seasickness on the passengers at sea, heat and humidity sensors, pressure measurement sensors, voltage and ampere measurement sensors, a motor drive circuitry, software algorithms, an energy management system, a control panel, batteries and battery charging components.
VESSEL PROPULSION SYSTEM AND VESSEL INCLUDING THE SAME
A propulsion system for a vessel includes an engine propulsion unit that provides a propulsive force to a hull by using an engine as a power source, an electric propulsion unit that provides a propulsive force to the hull by using an electric motor as a power source, a storing mechanism that is displaced from an actuating position to actuate the electric propulsion unit to a storing position to store the electric propulsion unit and performs a storing operation to store the electric propulsion unit, and an interlock controller that interlocks a storing operation of the storing mechanism with generation of a propulsive force by the engine propulsion unit.

CATHEDRAL BODY STRUCTURE FOR AN OCEAN BOTTOM SEISMIC NODE
Disclosed is an ocean bottom seismic node for recording seismic signals on the seabed. The ocean bottom seismic node may comprise an arched cathedral buoyant body coupled to a substantially flat bottom metal plate. The buoyant body may be formed of hard plastic (such as plastic injection in a mold) and have one or more cathedral type inner structures with columns that form a plurality of interconnected inner chambers, which may be dry or filled with foam and/or act as ballasts. One or more electronic components may be directly attached to the bottom metal plate (and within one or more of the internal cathedral chambers) and covered/protected by the buoyant body that is water and pressure resistant at seabed depths. The edge(s) of the buoyant body may seal around the metal plate on one or more peripheral edges of the plate and buoyant body.
