The present invention relates to a foldable propeller (1) for a boat, e.g. for a sailboat or a multihull yacht, where the foldable propeller (1) comprises a hub (2) with a plurality of blades, each blade comprising a blade root arranged to pivot around a separate pivot pin in order to be either in a first operative orientation, where the blade (4) is pointing mainly in a radial direction, or in a second inoperative orientation, where the blade is pointing mainly in an axial direction. The hub (2) comprises a number of hub flanges (28) for holding the pivot pins (9). The pivot pin (9) comprises at its second end (21) a head (26) with a recess (24) that accommodates the first end (20) of another of the pivot pins (9) inside the head (26).

The invention to which this application relates is to a propeller of the type, which is typically, although not necessary exclusively, for use in relation to vessels for use in water and, most typically, propellers of a type which can be moved between an in-use position in which the blades of the propeller extend outwardly to provide a propulsion force when rotated and, a storage position in which the desire is to minimise the effect of the blades as the vessel moves through the water and in which the blades are held substantially in line with the body of the propeller. The location means which allow the blades to be connected to the body are located within the body and thereby minimise the risk of corrosion and thereby increase the life of the propeller whilst also providing a secure fitment of the blades to the body and allowing ease of movement of the blades between in-use and storage positions.

Watercraft device with hydrofoil and electric propeller system

A method and system for providing a watercraft device are disclosed. The watercraft device comprises a board, a throttle coupled to a top surface of the board, a hydrofoil coupled to a bottom surface of the board, and an electric propeller system coupled to the hydrofoil. The electric propeller system powers the watercraft device using information generated from the throttle. A center of buoyancy in a non-foiling mode of the watercraft device and a center of lift in a foiling mode of the watercraft device are aligned.

Apparatus suitable for use in positioning ceiling or wall panels in predetermined locations. The apparatus includes one or more channel means shaped to receive at least part of a panel in use, said channel means at least partially defined by one or more substantially planar outer walls and at least one inner wall. At least part of the inner wall depends away from the outer wall thereby forming the opening into said channel means through which the ceiling or wall panel is inserted in use.
