COMPOSITION FOR PROMOTING PRODUCTION OF INTERLEUKIN-10
The present invention relates to a composition for promoting the production of interleukin-10, the composition including: a lactic acid bacterium belonging to the genus Lactobacillus; and a fermented milk.
LACTIC ACID BACTERIA STARTER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING FERMENTED MILK, AND FERMENTED MILK
The present invention provides a lactic acid bacteria starter comprising: Streptococcus thermophilus; and a lactic acid bacterium of the Lactobacillaceae other than Lactobacillus delbrueckii.
Cathelicidin-expressing lactic acid bacteria
The disclosure discloses cathelicidin-expressing lactic acid bacteria, and belongs to the technical field of genetic engineering. The disclosure constructs Lactococcus. lactis and Lactobacillus. plantarum expressing a CRAMP protein by optimizing the nucleotide sequence of the CRAMP protein. The Lactobacillus constructed in the disclosure can be used to prepare a vaccine for regulation of intestinal flora disorder, and has advantages in regulation of intestinal flora and intestinal immune response and maintenance. An anaculture can be directly taken as an oral vaccine to stimulate mice and cause a strong cellular immune response. The recombinant L. lactis can be used as a new oral vaccine product with good industrial prospects, plays a positive role in reducing intestinal inflammation, and has important practical significance for promoting health development of the intestinal tract.

METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A DAIRY FOOD PRODUCT AND A METHOD FOR GENE TRANSFER BY CONJUGATION
The present invention relates to the field of microbiology, specifically the field of production of a dairy food product using fermentation and the field of gene transfer by conjugation.
A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CHEESE WITH REDUCED AMOUNT OF GALACTOSE
A method for producing a cheese with reduced amount of galactose comprising inoculating milk with Streptococcus thermophilus Gal(+) bacteria and Lactobacillus Gal(+) Lac(−) bacteria.
Animal feed additive and animal feed
The present invention provides a coated-type feed additive composition for improving body weight gain of livestock or feed conversion ratio for livestock comprising: a core containing a physiologically active substance having a property of strengthening a membrane of intestinal epithelial cells; and a core coating agent.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AN IMPROVED MESOPHILIC FERMENTED MILK PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a method for producing a mesophilic fermented dairy product by fermenting a milk substrate with a mesophilic lactic acid bacterium starter culture comprising at least one Lactococcus lactis strain in the presence of at least one Bacillus subtilis subsp. natto or Bacillus coagulans strain.
Lactic acid bacteria compositions
The invention relates to a dry compositions for lactic acid bacteria and in particular to a dry composition comprising from 10.sup.9 to 10.sup.13 cfu/g of the composition of lactic acid bacteria cells, wherein the composition is characterized by that it also comprises following amounts of protective agents (all amounts of protective agents below are given relative to 1 g of lactic acid bacteria cells in the composition): from 6 to 9 g of trehalose, from 0.1 to 1 g of inulin and from 0.5 to 3 g of hydrolyzed casein, and by that it does not comprise a salt of alginic acid. The composition has an improved storage stability of the cell of interest. Comparison experiments have been made between compositions with and without alginate and it has been found that there is substantially no difference between compositions with or without alginate with regard to stability. Further, the invention relates to a method for preparing a dry lactic acid bacteria composition.
