A method of operating an electromechanical actuator includes coupling an inner portion of a split ball screw with an outer portion of the split ball screw, rotating the split ball screw about an axis to drive a ball nut in a first axial direction, in response to a failure mode of the electromechanical actuator, decoupling the outer portion of the split ball screw from the inner portion of the split ball screw, and translating the outer portion of the split ball screw and the ball nut in a second axial direction.

A redundant load transmission includes an input shaft configured to receive a rotational torque from a primary drive, an output shaft configured to transmit the rotational torque to an actuator, and a coupling assembly configured to connect the input shaft to the output shaft to transmit the rotational torque. The input shaft is configured to receive the rotational torque from the primary drive and transmit the rotational torque through the coupling assembly when the coupling assembly is in a primary drive configuration. The coupling assembly is configured to be disconnected from the input shaft and transmit a rotational torque to the output shaft from a secondary drive when the coupling assembly is in a secondary drive configuration.

The deployable device is capable of being ejected from the carrier vehicle and can be configured to operate as a vehicle and/or be towed by the carrier vehicle. The deployable device can continue collection of situation awareness data after being ejected.

The present invention includes a plurality of propellers creating a lift to prevent inclination and overturn of the drone due to a lift difference generated from uneven ground, a power driving unit providing a rotation power to each of a plurality of the propellers, a ground sensing unit measuring a distance to a first region of the ground and a shape of the first region, and a controller controlling the power driving unit to differentiate rotation ratios of a plurality of the propellers based on the measured distance and shape if receiving an input signal for landing at the first region.
DRONE
Disclosed is a drone. The present invention includes a plurality of propellers creating a lift to prevent inclination and overturn of the drone due to a lift difference generated from uneven ground, a power driving unit providing a rotation power to each of a plurality of the propellers, a ground sensing unit measuring a distance to a first region of the ground and a shape of the first region, and a controller controlling the power driving unit to differentiate rotation ratios of a plurality of the propellers based on the measured distance and shape if receiving an input signal for landing at the first region.
EHA SYSTEM FOR LIFTING/LOWERING LANDING GEAR
An EHA system (10) for lifting or lowering a leg of an aircraft includes a hydraulic circuit (101) having a hydraulic actuator (a hydraulic cylinder 2) configured to lift or lower the leg, at least one electric hydraulic pump (3), and a hydraulic path, a pressure sensor (38, 83), a temperature sensor (84), and a control unit (a controller 9) configured to output a control signal for operating the electric hydraulic pump in leg lifting or lowering. The hydraulic circuit includes a pressure increasing element. The control unit performs health monitoring regarding the performance of the electric hydraulic pump based on the pressure of hydraulic fluid, the temperature of hydraulic fluid, and the speed of the electric hydraulic pump during operation of the electric hydraulic pump.
