Machine and method for carrying out one operation on articles
A machine for carrying out at least one operation onto a first article and a second article is disclosed. The machine comprises feeding means for advancing a succession of the first article and the second article along a path and with a first speed; a first operative group, which comprises a first tool configured for carrying out operation onto the first article and which can be operated with a second speed associated to the first speed; gap creating means selectively controllable to create a first gap, which is arranged inside succession and is bounded between the first article and the second article; and a second operative group, which comprises a second tool configured for carrying out operation onto the second article and which can be operated at the second speed.
Label drum calibration system
A label vacuum-grip cylinder calibration system comprising an indicator support holder supporting a first indicator and a second indicator. The indicators each have a display face with a display. Projection areas of the display faces project perpendicularly from the display faces. The indicator support holder supports the first indicator and the second indicator such that a first projection area and a second projection area do not overlap and neither the first indicator nor the second indicator obscures either display.
LABELLING UNIT AND METHOD FOR LABELLING CONTAINERS
A labelling unit and a method for labelling containers is provided. Said method provides rapid and reliable switching movements with low noise development and low wear of the mechanical components in that suction bars for suctioning label areas at places where container gaps occur can be actively switched back to an inner position, in which they do not come into contact with a gluing unit, and in that the switching process is triggered with the aid of a stationary toggle lever.
Labelling machine and method
A labelling group for applying at least one label onto a respective article at an application station is disclosed. The labelling group comprises a transfer element, which is adapted to transfer the label along a trajectory which comprises a transfer station, and can be arranged in an operative position, in which the transfer station coincides, in use, with the application station; and a diverting device, which can be selectively arranged in: a first configuration, which allows the transfer element to convey the label along at least part of the trajectory and to release the label at the transfer station; or in a second configuration, which prevents the transfer element either from receiving the label or from releasing the label to the transfer station. The transfer element is movable in at least one rest position, in which the trajectory is spaced from the application station.
Labelling unit of containers
A labelling machine (1) for labelling containers moving on a transport system (2), includes a labelling unit (8) having a supplying roll (19) of a pre-printed label web and a cutting drum (20) providing for both cutting a label from the label web and applying it onto a container. The cutting drum (20) is located at the release point of a label to the container to be labeled.
Labeling machine
A labeling machine, which includes a conveyor of containers to be labeled along an advancement path and at least one labeling unit arranged along the advancement path and provided with a respective transfer drum that can move in rotation about its own axis, with respect to a supporting base, and which is adapted to receive, in adhesion to its lateral surface, from a feeder unit, labels to be applied to the containers, at a feeding station, and to transfer the labels received at the feeding station to respective containers that arrive from the conveyor at a transfer station which is angularly spaced apart from the feeding station about the axis of the transfer drum; at least one portion of a sector of the lateral surface of the transfer drum is rotatably movable, with respect to the remaining part of the transfer drum.
METHOD, A TRANSFER DRUM AND AN APPARATUS FOR LABELING ARTICLES
There is described a labeling apparatus (1) for applying labels (2) onto a succession of articles (3) and a method of setting-up of said labeling apparatus (1) prior to the application of the labels (2). The labeling apparatus (1) comprises a transfer drum (21) for retaining on its outer surface (22) labels (2), a glue application roller (19) having an outer lateral surface (20) and being configured to apply a pattern of glue onto the labels (2). The transfer drum (21) comprises a plurality of pad assemblies (24) arranged along its outer surface (22) and pad assembly alignment means (42) configured to modify orientation and/or position of each one of the plurality of pad assemblies (24) to a respective working configuration for aligning each one of the plurality of pad assemblies (24) with respect to the outer lateral surface (20) of the glue application roller (19).
Container processing machine
There is disclosed a container processing machine comprising a material handling surface for handling a sheet-like material through suction and a vacuum source in fluid connection with said material handling surface, the machine including means for detecting and transmitting a value of pressure of the gas being suctioned; a controllably operable flow valve; a control unit operatively connected with said detection and transmission means and with said flow valve; said detection and transmission means and said flow valve being arranged between said vacuum source and said material handling surface; said control unit being programmed to adjust the degree of opening of said flow valve in response to a signal which is a function of at least said value of pressure.
Labeling machine
A labeling machine includes a conveyor of containers to be labeled along an advancement path and at least one labeling station which is arranged along the advancement path of the containers. The labeling station supports at least one cutting device for the label ribbon. The cutting device includes a respective suction chamber which accommodates internally at least one blade. The suction chamber is connectable with an air suction device, in order to attract the label ribbon toward the inside of the suction chamber and against the blade and in so doing cutting the label ribbon. The cutting device includes at least one respective blade supporting block which is supported by the cutting drum and supports the blade. At least one portion of the blade supporting block is provided internally with at least one cavity for attenuating noise generated by cutting the label ribbon.
LABELING MACHINE WITH DETECTION OF PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF LABELS ON A WORK DRUM
A labeling machine includes a conveyance device for containers to be labeled along an advancement path and at least one labeling assembly, which is arranged along the advancement path of the containers. The labeling assembly includes a work drum which can move in rotation about its own axis and has, on its own lateral surface, suction ports which can be connected, by way of connection elements, to suction mechanisms, in order to allow the work drum to receive so as to adhere, to its own lateral surface, the labels to be transferred to the containers that transit on the conveyance device. Detectors detect the presence or absence of the labels on the work drum. The detectors include at least one sensor for detecting the pressure in the connection elements.
