A foldable blank for forming a carton for shipping and displaying a plurality of products in an integrated tray is provided. The blank includes a rear panel, a first and second side panels both foldably connected to the rear panel, an exterior floor panel foldably connected to the rear panel, and a front panel foldably connected to the floor panel that is less than half the vertical height of the rear, first side, and second side panels and defines at least one retaining tab, wherein when the blank is folded to form the carton, each of the rear panel, first and second side panels, and front panel are at least partially double-walled.

A self-contained continuous PDQ package system is provided for shipment and display of products. The PDQ package includes four adjacent sections of preferably corrugated material each with an inner facing and an outer facing surface, with a cut out within the bottom flap panel. Within the cut out, there is a section where an adhesive is placed adhering the inner facing portion of body panel and the inner facing of a section of bottom of the outer panel flap and adjacent mid-section panel. The self-contained continuous PDQ package system also provides an erectable reinforced shoulder to facilitate display of products in a stack of cartons.

The weakened area comprises a first section and a second section divided by an internal weakened line, and an adhesive tape having a tape width and a tape end, and covering adjacent edges of the second opposed top flaps to seal top of the box. The adhesive tape extends along a portion of the one of first opposed side walls in such a way that the adhesive tape covers part of the second section so as not to cover the internal weakened line.

A product container includes a first compartment, including a first-compartment first edge, a second compartment, including a second-compartment first edge, and a hinged connection extending between the first-compartment first edge and the second-compartment first edge. The second compartment is pivotable about the hinged connection relative to the first compartment to convert the product container between a closed state and an open state. In the closed state, the first compartment and the second compartment are in a stacked configuration. In the open state, the first compartment and the second compartment are in a side-by-side configuration.

Display container

A display container for shipping and displaying product includes a removable panel portion that, when removed, opens a display opening in the container. The container has outer walls reinforced by interior liner panel sections. The display container desirably includes interior corner gussets that add to the vertical crush resistance or stacking strength of the container. The display container is desirably formed from a single piece corrugated paper board blank and is designed so that it can be assembled into a container knock down state in one pass through a box forming machine.
