A dual compartment box for dispensing two different pourable products, the box comprising a blank having an outer front panel, a back panel, an inner front panel having a first aperture and a second aperture, a separator panel, a top panel having a third aperture and a fourth aperture, and a first slide and a second slide positioned between the top panel and the inner front panel. The panels are foldably connected to form a box having a first compartment and a second compartment. The top panel overlays the first and second slides and the inner front panel such that the first aperture and the third aperture substantially align and the second aperture and the fourth aperture substantially align. The first slide is moveable laterally to form a first dispensing path, and the second slide is moveable laterally to form a second dispensing path.

A carrier for packaging one or more articles, includes outer walls (12, 16, 18, 22a, 22b, 24a, 24b) which define an interior of the carrier. An intermediate wall (30a, 30b) at least partially segregates the interior of the carrier in a first direction. A partition structure (50a, 52a) divides the interior of the carrier in a second transverse direction. The partition structure is struck, at least in part, from one (16) of the outer walls. The partition structure is configured and arranged to be automatically erected in the interior of the carrier in response to unfolding a flat collapsed folded blank when the carrier is erected.

A multi-chamber container, such as a drinking box or a beverage can, with an educational function. The multi-chamber container is designed to provide a housing, with a sidewall extending between a bottom wall and a top wall, that can store food or beverage substances therein. The housing includes a primary chamber and at least one secondary chamber. The primary chamber is accessible via a primary opening, while each secondary chamber is individually accessible via a secondary opening. The container provides an educational function in that the primary chamber stores a desired liquid or solid material and the secondary chamber is empty. The primary and secondary openings are indistinguishable to the consumer until opened from a closed state. The selection of the primary opening corresponds to a correct answer to a question displayed on, or associated with, the container.

A box can include a body portion at least partially defining a cavity, the body portion defining a top body end and a bottom body end, the body portion including a plurality of panels, the top body end defining an opening to the cavity; a telescoping panel including an upper telescoping subpanel and a lower telescoping subpanel, the lower telescoping subpanel coupled to the body portion by a top hinge, the upper telescoping subpanel coupled to the lower telescoping subpanel by a telescoping hinge, the telescoping panel defining a locking tab disposed opposite from the top hinge, the lower telescoping subpanel extending into the cavity and positioned in facing engagement with a first panel of the plurality of panels, the upper telescoping subpanel extending across the cavity from the first panel to a second panel of the plurality of panels, the second panel positioned opposite from the first panel.

A multi compartment package with slide openings for storing and dispensing two different types or flavors of solid pourable product such as candies or mints is made from a single blank having a number of panels extending lengthwise and all foldably connected. From the blank the exterior of the package is formed having a front panel and a rear panel, and the interior having two compartments. The front panel has cut outs for dispensing the pourable product, and the rear panel connects to package enclosure tabs. Each compartment has a detachably connected slide, and the slides are glued to the package enclosure tabs to seal the package. To open the package, the slides are detached and moved to expose the cut outs through which the pourable product is dispensed. Conveniently, if all the product is not immediately consumed, the slides may be closed to retain freshness.

An improved shipping article includes a single piece of substantially planar material with parallel scores formed therein thereby defining substantially planar sections of the shipping article, the planar sections of the shipping article defining, when the piece of substantially planar material is folded along the parallel scores, a first pair of opposing, substantially parallel, spaced-apart sides, a second pair of opposing, substantially parallel, spaced-apart sides that are substantially perpendicular to the first pair of sides, and a pair of dividing walls located adjacent each other and dividing a compartment formed by the first and second pairs of sides into two sub-compartments. A top extension is sized and shaped to fold down to form a top of one of the sub-compartments. Each of the top extensions includes a hole therein sized to receive a human finger or thumb to facilitate lifting, and shelves form sub-sub-compartments.

The technology disclosed herein includes a packaging apparatus comprising an outer sleeve, an inner sleeve, and at least one locking mechanism configured to lock the inner sleeve inside the outer sleeve. In some implementations, the locking mechanism is an interior sliding mechanism, which locks the inner sleeve in its entirety in the outer sleeve. In some implementations, the locking mechanism is an interior sliding mechanism, which permits the inner sleeve to move partially out of the outer sleeve. In some implementations, the locking mechanism includes a spring, a tab, a flap, a key, a magnet lock, or other locking component. In some implementations, the inner sleeve includes a pull tab for removal of the inner sleeve from inside the outer sleeve.

The self-folding pizza packaging box with the compartments and carry handle belongs to the area of transport packaging. The box (1) is made of the folded blank (A), formed by folding and gluing into a flat form of the box (1), and is formed from the upright surfaces in a vertical position. The box (1) is made in the form of a prism with bases (2, 3), parallel lateral panels (4, 4′′), while its other two parallel sides are rectangular flaps (5). The box (1) is formed by folding upwards the lateral panels (4, 4′) of the rectangular shape along the folding lines (2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2), by straightening the flaps (9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4) which are continued to the lateral panels (4, 4′) and by folding upwards the rectangular parts of the flaps (5) along the folding lines (2.3) so that it is brought to a vertical position to the bases (2, 3) of the rhomboid shape. By folding upwards the lateral panels (4, 4′) the rhomboid compartments (6, 7) are also straightened, they are pulled in towards the inside of the box (1) in relation to the outer edges of the filling opening. On the flap (5) whose longer side is the folding line (5.1), a cutting line (5.2) is made in which the flap (8) is inserted, made in the middle of the other two parallel sides of the base (3) along the folding line (8.3), thus sealing the box (1) is provided. After putting six slices of pizza, the whole pizza, into the box and closing it, the carry handle (10) is inserted into the box (1) so that the parts (10.3) are inserted between the rectangular parts of the flap (5) and the flaps (9.2, 9.4), the parts (10.2).) rest on the lateral panels (4, 4′), and the part (10.1) is placed diagonally on the surface of the base (3).
