The carton also includes a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to respective panels of the plurality of panels and forming a closed top portion of the carton, the closed top portion of the carton is reconfigurable between a first configuration having a substantially flat profile and a second configuration forming a handle of the carton. The carton also includes locking features for engaging at least one other carton.

The carrier includes primary panels (14, 16, 18, 20) hingedly connected together to form a tubular structure having an interior space. A bottom closure structure (30b, 34b) at least partially closes a lower end of the tubular structure. At least one of the primary panels (16, 20) may include a handle (H1, H2). A handle reinforcing panel (30a, 34a) is secured to the inside surface of the at least one of the primary panels. A partition structure (P1, P2) is hingedly connected to the handle reinforcing panel and disposed in the tubular structure to divide the interior space of the tubular structure into two or more cells for receiving articles.

A packaging box has four side walls and at least one closure flap that is pivotably joined to one side wall. The packaging box has a tuck-in tab, which can be introduced in the vicinity of the opposite side wall into an inner chamber of the box. The packaging box has an inner partition parallel to two of the side walls. A hook-like projection is provided on the partition. Upon the introduction of the tuck-in tab into the inner chamber during the closing of the closure flap, the hook-like projection automatically engages a through opening in the tuck-in tab and thereafter keeps the closure flap firmly in the closed state.
