Composite Pallet Structure
A composite pallet structure includes a unit pallet including: upper and lower basic supporting boards, at least two spaced-apart auxiliary rods attached to each of the corresponding sides of the upper and lower basic supporting boards, a plurality of spacers distributed between the auxiliary rods on the upper basic supporting board and the auxiliary rods on the lower basic supporting board, and a plurality of fixing elements for restricting the spacers within the space between the upper and lower basic supporting boards in order for the unit pallet to have high supporting strength. The composite pallet structure needs no soldering and, therefore, can be easily repaired and recycled.
METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A PLASTIC PALLET
The invention relates to a method for the production of an assembled plastic pallet, consisting in producing 13 small identical plastic parts and assembling said parts, by means of interlocking, in order to produce the end plastic pallet, in various sizes, said pallet being intended for a wide range of uses associated with the transport and unloading of goods using a forklift truck.
Cargo pallet
A cargo pallet made of synthetic resin includes: a top plate and a bottom plate, each plate constituted by bonded stacked synthetic-resin boards cut into a specified shape and size; and spacers bonded between the top plate and the bottom plate which are arranged in parallel and separated by the spacers. Each board is constituted by two sheets with an inner cavity layer interposed between the two sheets. In an embodiment, ribs connecting the two sheets of one board are aligned in parallel in a first direction, and ribs connecting the two sheets of another board stacked on the one board are aligned in parallel in a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction. The spacers are elastic spacers made of synthetic resin and having spring elasticity in a height direction.
Secure barrel pallet
A pallet device for securing a barrel for transportation includes a first pallet half including a first semi-circular cut-out, a second pallet half including a second semi-circular cut-out, wherein the first pallet half and the second pallet half are connected together to form a circular cut-out configured to accommodate the barrel.
Container roll out warehousing system
A container rollout warehousing system is contemplated that includes at least two inter-connectable modular platforms with each platform having at least one roller at one end. The two or more platforms are inter-connectable such that the central longitudinal axis of the platforms are collinear and the two or more platforms are also vertically stackable in a spaced apart relationship to receive cargo therebetween.
Shipping pallet apparatus and method
Shipping pallets 10 that may be constructed, at least in part, from structural members 100 that are largely fabricated from paper and paper based materials are disclosed. One or more of the structural members 100 may include a wrapper 60 secured in tension to a core 20. The core 20 may include one or more laminated fiberboard sheets 40. Because of the use of paper and paper based materials, the one or more aspects of shipping pallets 10 in accordance with the present inventions may be recycled.
Adhesive Patch and Method of Use in a Packaging System
An adhesive patch and method of use thereof for forming a plurality of stackable items into a vertically stacked load are described. The method may include delivering an aligned stack of items positioned on a pallet for eventual transportation while minimizing the misalignment of the stackable items.
Flat rack for transporting cargo
A flat rack comprising, a cargo platform for carrying a load, terminal bulkheads for enclosing the cargo platform and two intermediate bulkheads positioned between the terminal bulkheads at equal distance from the center of gravity of the flat rack. Each of the intermediate bulkheads is equipped with lifting points suitable therefore. Optionally, the distance between the intermediate bulkheads is between 20 and 40. More specifically, the distance between the intermediate bulkheads may be 34. A method for loading or offloading a cargo vessel loaded with a plurality of flat racks. The method comprises operating a crane adapted to lift at least one of the plurality of flat racks as described herein above.
PALLET ASSEMBLY
A pallet includes fire retardant coatings to improve the overall fire performance of the pallet. First, the coatings may be used in combination with fire retardant additives in the plastic material of the pallet in order to reduce the amount of additives, thereby reducing cost and improving the structural performance of the pallet. Alternatively or additionally, the fire retardant coatings may be placed inside the pallet. This eliminates the chance that the fire retardant coating will get worn off during use. For example, the coating could be placed between the reinforcement sheet and the deck or runners, within the columns, etc.
