PORTABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A portable beverage container is provided. The portable beverage container may include a glass vessel having a neck; a metal outer shell configured to surround a first portion of the glass vessel; a cap configured to engage with the metal outer shell to surround a second portion of the glass vessel; and an amorphous thermoplastic spout having a neck configured to be inserted through an opening in the cap and into the neck of the glass vessel. The spout may be configured to securely engage with the cap. The cap may include a lid with an elastomeric sealing member having a knob configured to extend into a recess in the spout and a recess configured to wrap around and over a lip of the spout. The spout may be removable from the cap while the cap is engaged with the outer shell.

Sip-hole improvement insert device
A insert device method and system that can prevent the undesirable spill and splash of sloshing liquids through the sip-hole a container and or the sip-hole of a lid, but yet still allow liquid to pass through the sip-hole. This is achieved by creating a tube or tubular flow-path or labyrinth flow-path device, with a inlet, and flange that could be secured to a sip-hole in efforts to direct and control the flow and rate of liquid from within a container. These elements can be combined with a tear-off seal, or plug to help to thwart and deflect sloshing liquid thereby minimizing or preventing the accidental release of liquid while still allowing the passage of liquid, and in some cases improving the flow of liquid. The addition of a removable seal or plug can allow the device to prevent liquid flow as desired.
Hinged closure
A closure includes a cap having a top wall and a skirt perpendicular to the top wall and extending downwardly from the top wall to a lower edge. The skirt includes an inner surface having a sealing formation. A band is concentric with and attached to the lower edge of the skirt by a plurality of frangible members. A tab is formed at a hinge location from the band and extending from the lower edge of the skirt to a pair of co-linear slits in the band separated by a frangible member. The tab is bounded by a pair of slits extending from the lower edge of the skirt to the pair of co-linear slits, with each of the pair of slits being separated from a respective first co-linear slit by a respective frangible member.
CLOSURES FOR LIQUID-DISPENSING CONTAINERS AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING SUCH CLOSURES
A closure can include a base having an opening. The base can be connected to a container such that a liquid in the container, for example a creamer, is pourable through the opening of the closure into a beverage cup. The closure can include an overcap having a plug, and the plug can seal the opening when the overcap is in a closed position relative to the base. A hinge can connect the overcap to the base and be biased to establish and maintain an angle of the overcap when the overcap moves out of the closed position. Liquid retained on the overcap during opening of the overcap can then fall directly into the beverage cup during pouring due to the angle of the overcap in the open position. Any retained liquid ingredient that falls from the overcap onto the base can be confined within a ring on the base.
LIQUID DISPENSER HAVING COMPRESSIBLE LIQUID STORE
Cream dispenser for topically dispensing liquid onto the skin of a user including a liquid store, a discharge head that has a discharge opening and a hinged lid to protect the discharge opening. The dispenser has a multi-part design of the discharge head in order to limit, in a haptically satisfactory way, the movability of a release button of the discharge head and a special relative arrangement of the locking edges on the discharge head and on the hinged lid opposite a joint of the hinged lid in order to prevent the sharp-edged locking edges from coming into contact with the skin while cream is being discharged onto the skin.
Dispenser for a flowable substance
A dispenser has a bottle (2) and a closure (3) for the bottle (2). The closure (3) has abase (4) forming a dispensing outlet (6) and a flip-cap for openably closing the dispensing outlet (6). The base (4) is attached on the bottle (2). The dispenser (1) further having a hinge (7) which interconnects the flip-cap and the base (4) for swiveling the flip-cap relative to the base (4) between a closed position, in which the flip-cap closes the outlet (6), and an open position in which the outlet (6) is open. The hinge (7) forms a swivel axis. The closure (3) forms a first end (18, 19) in a direction toward the flip-cap and a second end (18, 19) in a direction toward the base (4). The closure (3) in an area between the hinge-level plane and the second end (18, 19) forms an outer surface circumferentially around the longitudinal axis which is at least partly provided by an outer surface of the base (4) and an outer surface of the flip-cap.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER AND CONTAINER WITH SUCH A CLOSURE
The present invention relates to a closure for a container with a base element and a flip-top lid attached to said base element by a hinge, such that the flip-top lid can be moved between a fully open and a fully closed position. The flip-top lid has a protrusion extending outwardly from said flip-top lid and said skirt having a tongue member extending from an upper region of the skirt of said base member. The invention also relates to a container with such a closure.
