DUAL CONTAINER, REGENERATED RESIN PRODUCTION METHOD, PREFORM, AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING INNER BAG OF DUAL CONTAINER
A dual container, including a container body and a mouth portion attachment. The container body includes an inner bag and an outer shell that is disposed to cover the inner bag, and the inner bag is configured to be extractable from the container body, and the mouth portion attachment is attached to a mouth portion of the inner bag and is configured to be removable from the mouth portion.
Drinking vessel with closure assembly
A drinking vessel including a beverage container and a closure assembly attachable to the beverage container. The beverage container has a spout defining a first drinking opening and a second drinking opening. The closure assembly includes a positioning member and a sealing member. When the positioning member is in a sealing orientation, the positioning member can extend deep enough into the first drinking opening for the sealing member to seal the first drinking opening and the second drinking opening. When the positioning member is not in the sealing orientation, the positioning member cannot extend deep enough into the first drinking opening for the sealing member to seal the first drinking opening and the second drinking opening.
CONTAINER AND CLOSURE SYSTEMS WITH FLAME MITIGATION
Flame mitigation devices meeting all applicable regulatory requirements are described. The system includes a mesh element affixed to a closure fitment that is specially designed to couple to a rounded bead or edges on a container neck. Tamper-evident and child resistant features can be incorporated at the interfaces of the closure fitment and a cap that is removably attachable to the closure, whereas the closure is effectively coupled to the container in a permanent a manner.
LIQUID CONTAINERS, FILTERS, CAPS, HOSE ASSEMBLIES & KITS
A container may include a generally hollow body configured for holding a liquid and including a spout. A spout cap may be configured for removable engagement with the spout. The spout cap may include an inner boss and an outer boss in fluid communication with the inner boss. The inner boss may include an annular skirt disposed within an interior space of the spout cap. The outer boss may be configured to receive a connector of a hose assembly. A filter may have a connecting portion configured for removable insertion into the inner boss. The filter and the spout cap may form a fluid flow path from the body through the spout. Related filters, hose assemblies, and kits are also described.
Cap and two-part plug assembly for a drip-proof spout
A two-part plug assembly is disclosed for a drip-proof spout on an aseptic flexible container for flowable materials. The two-part plug assembly may include a plug and a plug insert, wherein the plug insert may include a flow inhibitor such as a baffle or valve. In a first step, the plug assembly is removably placed in a first position on a spout prior to aseptic filling. During filling, the plug assembly is removed. After filling, the plug insert assembly is replaced in a second position further down the spout wherein the plug insert fixedly engages the spout. When fixedly engaged to the spout, the plug insert remains inside the spout when the plug is removed prior to a user dispensing the flowable material. When a cap is included, the plug assembly may shift position to allow a cap shaft to engage the flow inhibitor when the plug is removed.
All-plastic pouring spout and closure assembly
A securing ring is snap-fittingly engageable over and around an annular mounting flange of a foldable pouring spout in a container closure assembly, with a frangible connection between the securing ring and a spout closure member (e.g. a screw cap) intact. The assembled closure assembly is snap-fittingly engageable over and around a container neck which is received in a groove extending circumferentially about the mounting flange. The groove is defined in part by a radially outer wall having a proximal portion lying towards the pouring end of the spout and a distal end portion lying away from the pouring end of the spout. The radially outer wall comprises a central flexure zone of reduced radial width relative to the proximal and distal end portions, whereby the distal end portion is hingeingly deflectable between a radially outer position for extraction of the spout from a mold tool, and a radially inner position for engagement in an annular undercut in a radially outer surface of the container neck. When the securing ring is snap-fittingly engaged over and around the mounting flange, the distal end portion is held in the radially inner position. The distal end portion comprises a chamfer at its radially inner side and which extends radially inwards towards the pouring end of the spout for guiding the closure assembly into snap-fitting engagement with the container neck.
SUSTAINABLE TUBULAR CONTAINER FOR CONSUMER PRODUCTS
A sustainable tubular container that is fully recyclable by curbside recycling, repulpable and home compostable and is easy to use, prevents undesired leakage of the consumer product material, can withstand repetitive usage, and overcomes deficiencies of existing all paper consumer product container systems. The tubular container is primarily paper based that may be recycled easily in the existing paper recycling stream with minimal non-paper parts that also are easily biodegradable, recyclable curbside or home compostable. Such a consumer product container preferably is made of paper-based materials with an inner liner or a coating and otherwise, it is made of PHA, PHB and/or other compostable moldable materials.
Retractable spout closure system with flame mitigation
Flame mitigation system for retractable/extendible spout formed in a closure is described. The system meets applicable regulatory requirements and includes a flame mitigating mesh element in a rigid spout section immediately above a flexible section that extends and retracts. A tamper evident panel is disposed above the mesh, while a removable cap can be affixed to the rigid spout. An optional, snap-fitting cylindrical guard may also be used. In each instance, the precise positioning of selected elements and inner diameter and axial travel distance of selected elements can be determinative of the system's ability to pass the regulatory requirements.
SPOUT UNIT, PACKAGE, AND CONTENTS-FILLED PACKAGE
A spout unit includes a cap with a cap projection and a spout with a spout projection. When the cap rotates in a closing direction, the cap projection crosses the spout projection. When the spout fixed to a package body is observed downward in the vertical direction, the spout projection is in a left region or a right region. The left and right regions are demarcated by a first line and a second line, and share a reference line orthogonal to a center axis of the spout and extending in the long direction of the package body. The first line is the reference line rotated at an angle of 50 about the center axis in the closing direction, and the second line is the reference line rotated at an angle of 50 about the center axis in a direction opposite to the closing direction.
A DRINKS CONTAINER
A drinks container comprises a container body having a side wall terminating in a rim forming an open top, and an adapter mounted on the container body. The adapter is interchangeable between a first upright configuration where it forms a central primary outlet, and a second inverted configuration in which the adapter forms a secondary outlet adjacent the rim of the container for enabling a user to sip a drink from the rim of the container. The drinks container may further include a strap mounted on the container body that is releasably mountable to the closure for tethering the closure to the container body so that it is not physically separated from the container during use and is therefore not prone to getting lost.
