20180184825 · 2018-07-05 ·

A beverage container assembly has a container with an opening and a lid that closes the opening. The lid has a mouthpiece that extends laterally outwardly of the container to allow a person's head to remain upright or erect (i.e., minimizing or no head tilt movement) while drinking so as to not impede the user's straight-ahead vision, such as while driving. The mouthpiece is configured so that the container becomes disposed at one side of the nose so that the container is tiltable further as the nose does not interfere with the tilting action.

LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY FOR A PACKAGE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY AND PACKAGE HAVING A LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY

Lid-spout assembly for a package intended to contain a pourable product and having a main body comprising a designated pour opening through which the pourable product can be poured, in use; the lid-spout assembly comprises a spout having a pouring outlet fluidly connectable with the designated pour opening; and a lid configured to be coupled to the spout to selectively close and open the pouring outlet; the spout comprises: a base frame configured to couple the spout to the main body about the designated pour opening and having a first wall configured to face, in use, the inner space of the main body, and a collar carrying the pouring outlet and protruding from the base frame; the base frame comprises a plurality of recesses obtained on the first wall.

Flip Open Catheter Package

A catheter package includes an elongated case (210). A cap (218) is attached to the case by a flexible strap (214). The case receives the tubing portion of a catheter. The catheter has a funnel (224) attached to the tubing. The funnel has a seal portion releasably engageable with the case. The cap is releasably engageable with the funnel to retain the funnel in contact with the case. A user can flip the cap off the funnel to permit removal of the catheter from the case. A hydration device may be inserted in the case. Alternately, a tubular liner may be inserted in the case to separate liquid water on the outside of the liner from the catheter tubing on the inside of the liner. A window in the liner mounts a patch of filter material that permits the passage of water vapor into the interior of the liner.

Vacuum bottle stopper for introducing inert gas into a wine container

Vacuum bottle stoppers for wine, particularly suited for partially consumed bottles of wine are disclosed. Systems are also disclosed for evacuating a partially consumed bottle of wine, filling the wine bottle head space with an inert or other gas and the storing the wine bottle while maintaining the inert or other gas in the bottle. The stopper has a vacuum valve and a vacuum indicator in a removable cap. The vacuum valve has a self-closing passageway due to the passageway traversing an elastomeric material. The vacuum indicator moves in response to vacuum and reveals a marking on a valve opener when a desired vacuum is achieved.

A crown, for a medical vial opening, has a top portion and a skirt surrounding the top portion. The skirt terminates at a lower edge defined in a first horizontal plane. An opener assembly is mounted to a portion of the top. A first scoring line extends from the portion of the top to which the opener assembly is mounted to the lower edge of the skirt in a continuous radial direction, and a second scoring line provides an upper radial segment extending from the opener assembly to the skirt along a radial axis, and a lower annular segment that extends circumferentially along the skirt in an annular direction and extending from a terminus of the upper radial segment. The lower annular segment is defined in a second horizontal plane equidistant to the first horizontal plane associated with the lower edge of the skirt.

Fluid Dispensing Device

A fluid delivery device, such as a syringe, is disclosed, including a bellows structure defining a first end, a second end, and a cavity therein, where compressing the bellows structure reduces a height of the syringe; a tip adjacent the first end, the tip defining a channel in fluid communication with the cavity; a post coaxial with the channel and disposed in the cavity adjacent the second end of the bellows structure; a laterally-extending flange adjacent the first end of the bellows structure, the flange defining a width greater than a width of the bellows structure; an adaptor adjacent the tip, the adaptor defining a wall and a threaded interface on an interior surface thereof; and a cap releasably engageable with the tip.

Lid-spout assembly for a package, package having a lid-spout assembly and method for molding a lid-spout assembly

A lid-spout assembly for a package having a main body including a designated pour opening. The lid-spout assembly includes at least a spout having a pouring outlet, a lid configured to selectively close and open the pouring outlet and being controllable between at least a closed position and an open position, a tethering element tethering the lid to the spout, a retaining group configured to interact with the tethering element and/or the lid for retaining the lid in the open position. The retaining group includes at least a support portion being configured to be positioned within the main body and an interaction portion being configured to interact with the tethering element and/or the lid for retaining the lid in the open position and connected to the support portion and being configured to extend away from the main body.

Cover and manufacturing method therefor

A cover (200) and a manufacturing method therefor. The cover (200) comprises a dispensing port (212), a detachable plug (250) that is located at the peripheral edge (230) of the cover (200) and integrally formed with the cover (200), and a recess (222). When a sealing structure is formed between the cover (200) and a cup (100), the dispensing port (212) is used for providing an outlet for contents present in the cup (100). The detachable plug (250) comprises a protrusion (255), and the protrusion (255) is used to form another sealing structure between the protrusion (255) and the dispensing port (212). The recess (222) is configured to be detachably coupled with the protrusion (255) so as to keep the detachable plug (250) in the vicinity of the cover (200) when the detachable plug (250) is not in use.
