DISPENSING CLOSURES AND DISPENSERS
20180148234 · 2018-05-31 ·

A dispensing closure for dispensing fluid product from a squeeze container consists of an outer cap element (3) and an inner element or valve disc (4) fitting inside the cap element. Each is moulded from thermoplastics; no elastomer is used. The cap element includes an outwardly-deflectable diaphragm wall (35) around a central outlet opening (361). The inner element (4) has a peripheral mounting ring (41), a central blocking portion (48) and a set of support spokes (46) providing flow clearance between them. In a closed position the blocking portion closes the outlet opening. In an outflow condition the diaphragm wall (35) deflects outwardly to allow flow. In a recovery mode the blocking portion (48) deflects inwardly for compensation air or residual liquid product to enter the container.

CONTAINER AND CAP

In the container, when the cap is capped on the container opening portion, an inner wall surface of a cylindrical sub-fitting wall portion of the cap and an outer wall surface of a large diameter opening portion of the container opening portion closely contact each other, and an outer wall surface of a cylindrical main fitting wall portion of the cap and an inner wall surface of a small diameter opening portion of the container opening portion closely contact each other. In this way, pressing force that is applied to the outer wall surface of the cylindrical main fitting wall portion of the cap from the inner wall surface of the small diameter opening portion of the container opening portion is increased.

Check valve, check valve assembly and vessel equipped with check valve

A check valve of one embodiment includes a spout member which has a flow path inside, an urging member supported by an inner end portion of the spout member, a valve body connected to the urging member, and a cylindrical member having a flow path inside, and is provided with a valve seat portion on an inner circumferential face, the spout member is fixedly attached to the cylindrical member so that the valve body and the urging member are inserted into the cylindrical member and the valve body is urged to the valve seat portion by the urging member, and the flow path and the flow path communicate with each other to configure an outflow path through which the content in the vessel flows out.

An outlet valve for a dispensing nozzle comprising a first valve component constructed and arranged to be received by the dispensing nozzle and a second valve component constructed and arranged to cooperate with the first valve component. The first valve component and the second valve component define a normally-closed flow interface.

Liquid-Dispensing Device Comprising A Protective Cap

A liquid-dispensing device including a cap for protecting a liquid-dispensing opening, the protective cap being provided with a pad for absorbing residual liquid, made of an absorbent material, the absorbent pad being fastened to a support made of a more resistant material than the absorbent pad, the support being furthermore fastened in the protective cap.

Cap

A cap body of a cap includes: a cylindrical inner wall section to be fitted into an inner wall surface of a container mouth section; an annular wall section that extends obliquely in an upper direction toward a radial-direction center integrally from an inner wall surface of the cylindrical inner wall section, has a lower wall surface of a truncated conical shape, and has a discharge hole in a radial-direction center portion; a check valve disposed above the annular wall section to open or close the discharge hole in such a manner that a valve section is detached from or seated on an annular valve seat around the discharge hole; and a guiding tubular body disposed above the check valve and having a discharge passage of contents from the discharge hole. Therefore, at the time of using the contents, the contents can be smoothly discharged to the outside.

Liquid dispensing device equipped with a removable cap

A device for dispensing liquid including an opening for dispensing liquid, a pad for absorbing residual liquid and a removable cap including a shape in the immediate vicinity and opposite the dispensing opening, referred to as a shape for expelling residual liquid, configured to discharge the residual liquid toward the pad when the cap is mounted on the device.

A liquid dispensing device includes a dispensing end piece and a neck of a reservoir for storing the liquid, the end piece being attached to the neck, which has a tubular internal surface. The end piece has a tubular internal skirt that is mounted in the neck and defines, with the internal surface, at least one annular sealing zone, preventing the liquid from passing between the internal skirt and the neck. The skirt defines, with the internal surface, a separate zone for retaining shavings, which prevents shavings that are formed in the sealing zone while the end piece is being fitted into the neck from getting into the reservoir.

Container, closure, and methods for manufacture

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to contain and dispense a fluid, such as a thixotropic fluid. In some embodiments, a bottle having a closure cap includes a control device, a base, and a disk, where the base and disk define a mixing chamber configured to facilitate mixing of any serum or liquid separated from the fluid back therein. In some embodiments, a dispensing bottle includes a non-removable closure cap with a tamper evident feature that indicates whether the cap was previously opened. By one approach, the dispensing bottle includes discontinuous threads on a bottle neck and ratchet projections on a closure cap that engage the discontinuous thread(s) to prevent or inhibit manual removal of the cap from the bottle.

A valve (100) includes a base (110) defining a central axis (114). The valve (100) includes a post (118) connected to the base (110) and extending axially outwardly from the base (110), in the direction along the central axis (114). The valve (100) includes at least one flow aperture (122) in one or both of the base (110) and/or the post (118). The valve (100) further includes a flexible membrane (126) having an orifice (130) and having a non-dispensing configuration wherein the orifice (130) is located proximate to the post (118) to minimize communication through the valve (100). The flexible membrane (126) has a dispensing configuration wherein the orifice (130) is moved away from the post (118) for establishing communication through the valve (100).
