The invention relates to a liquid transfer device including: a connecting element which is to sealably attached onto a liquid transfer opening and which includes a set of liquid transfer ports, an outlet, and a bore that extends between the transfer ports and the outlet; and an adapter which is to be connected to liquid discharge means and which includes a head shaped such as to be inserted into the outlet and including a set of holes for engaging with said ports. Said liquid transfer device includes a swing joint placed in the connecting element between the outlet and the liquid transfer ports and includes a set of liquid passages and a recess shaped such as to receive the head of the adapter in a position in which said passages of the joint and the holes of the adapter are aligned. Said joint is rotatably movable in the connecting element, between a closed position of the device and a liquid transfer position, by means of the head of the adapter.

Articles of manufacture (glue-tubes) are disclosed for dispensing of sticky and/or curable substances. In various embodiments each glue-tube has at least two dispensing ports. Additional ports may be used anytime that a port is obstructed by the dried or cured substance. In some embodiments the dispensing ports may be stacked on top of each other or may be placed side by side or be located at different parts of the glue-tube. In some other embodiments the dispensing ports may be colored differently or may be different in size and/or appearance. In various embodiments the dispensing ports may be opened by unscrewing, turning, pushing, pulling, lifting, or by a combination thereof. In yet other embodiments small pumps may be used to dispense the contained substance. According to the present disclosure, inexpensive multi-port dispensing heads may be manufactured separately for retrofitting any store-bought glue-tubes.

A discharge head for a fluid container, including a discharge opening and a switching valve which closes and opens a fluid path between the fluid container and the discharge opening. The discharge head has an inner component fixedly connected to a fluid store and an outer component movable relative to the inner component and non-separably connected thereto. The outer component is moved relative to the inner component between a first relative closure position and a second relative open position. The switching valve is opened and closed by movement of the inner component relative to the outer component, is closed in the first position and open in the second position. The inner and outer components are locked in the first position by a child-resistant mechanism, and displacement of the outer component from the first position into the second position is prevented in a locking position of the mechanism.

A package includes a container and a lid. The container includes a body formed to include an interior product-storage region and neck coupled to the body and formed to include a mouth opening into the interior-product storage region. The lid is coupled the neck of the container and formed to include a portion of a droplet passageway therein which is arranged to extend along a longitudinal axis of the lid. The droplet passageway is adapted to communicate a droplet of fluid from the interior region to environment surrounding the package.

A fluid dispensing closure device for a bottle has an outer member with a collar portion sized to thread externally onto the neck and an inner sleeve disposed within the collar portion to be received within the opening in the neck of the bottle, and an annular surface extending radially between a top end of the inner sleeve and the collar portion to seal against the top of the neck. A valve member is movably axially relative to a valve seat on the inner sleeve. An actuator member includes an externally accessible external portion rotatable relative to the outer member by an operator and an internal portion connected with the valve member such that rotation of the actuator member drives axial displacement of the valve member between open and closed positions. The device fits within the dimensions of convention bottle caps.

A fluid dispensing closure device for a bottle has an outer member with a collar portion sized to thread externally onto the neck and an inner sleeve disposed within the collar portion to be received within the opening in the neck of the bottle, and an annular surface extending radially between a top end of the inner sleeve and the collar portion to seal against the top of the neck. A valve member is movably axially relative to a valve seat on the inner sleeve. An actuator member includes an externally accessible external portion rotatable relative to the outer member by an operator and an internal portion connected with the valve member such that rotation of the actuator member drives axial displacement of the valve member between open and closed positions. The device fits within the dimensions of convention bottle caps.

Systems for measuring an ingredient are disclosed. A cap with a flexible silicone thread is configured to screw onto a threaded bottle and has a shaft and a slit. The cap has a rotatable filling section attached to the cap and configured to rotate to block the slit and prevent fluid communication between the threaded bottle and a dispensable volume or to expose the slit and allow fluid communication between the threaded bottle and the dispensable volume. A volume selector rotates to provide a largest and a smallest measurable volume. A lid covers the dispensable volume. A user rotates the rotatable filling section to fill the section with an ingredient. The user rotates it back, removes the lid, and dispenses the ingredient.
