A beverage container having an oval or elliptical cross-sectional shape is provided. The beverage container comprises a beverage receptacle comprising a cavity surrounded by a container wall configured to store a liquid and an open top portion. The beverage container further comprises a lid configured to be attached to the open top portion of the beverage receptacle to cover the open top portion of the beverage receptacle and comprising an opening formed through the lid configured to dispense the liquid. The lid and at least the open top portion of the beverage receptacle comprise an oval or elliptical shape to provide the beverage container with its oval or elliptical cross-sectional shape. The oval or elliptical shape of the beverage container is configured to improve visibility of a user during use of the beverage container.

A hopper type agricultural and livestock spreader and fertilizer dispensing apparatus. The dispenser may be configured to be mounted to a ground transport vehicle, such as a tractor and three point hitch. An auxiliary outlet is configured in the hopper at an elevated position from a bottom end thereof. A flow regulator is operatively attached to regulate the outlet area of the auxiliary outlet to achieve a desired flow rate. The auxiliary outlet is dimensioned to permit the flow of large feed stocks. A dispenser flow tube may be operatively connected to the outlet to direct the flow of feed product in a desired spot. A pressurised headspace beverage closure 1 that may be opened and reclosed in at least substantially a one-handed manner; comprising a drinking aperture, at least one headspace pressure lock mechanism 5, at least one controlled-rate headspace pressure equalisation valve arrangement 6 and a sealing system 7 suitable for multiple re-use, and whereby when the headspace pressure 10 is at least substantially above or below atmospheric pressure the headspace pressure lock mechanism 5 may employ the use of the headspace pressure 10 itself to ensure that the closure cannot freely be opened by a user, whereby the headspace pressure equalisation valve arrangement 6 may freely enable the headspace pressure 10 to be vented such that it may at least substantially equalise with atmospheric pressure at a pre-set and controlled rate preferably independent of a user thereby allowing safe and controlled venting of the headspace pressure 10, and whereby once the headspace pressure 10 has at least substantially equalised with atmospheric pressure the headspace pressure interlock system 5 may release its headspace pressure lock sufficiently to enable the one-handed closure to be fully and freely opened and reclosed as required.

An apparatus for dispensing a beverage comprising: a bottle; a bladder for containing the beverage; and a spigot for dispensing the beverage, wherein the bladder is sealed to the base portion of the spigot. The spigot comprises: one or more air ports; and one or more vertical ridged elements. The beverage is entirely contained within the bladder. This bag-in-bottle beverage dispenser may be used as a container and dispenser of wine and other air and photosensitive consumables.

An insulating container assembly can be configured to retain beverages and/or foods. The insulated container can include one of a plurality of container projections or grooves. A lid assembly can include one of a plurality of skirt grooves or projections, corresponding to the plurality of container projections or grooves of the insulated container. The lid assembly may be configured to lock in place on the container by engaging the plurality of skirt grooves or projections with the container grooves or projections when in the locked position.

A beverage container system is described. The beverage container system includes a lid assembly with a slider to selectively close a beverage container. The slider is biased to remain in closed and open positions.

A powder dispensing apparatus for dispensing a powder either with or without a liquid is presented. The apparatus includes a base, dispenser, and tower. The base is adapted for receiving a container. The dispenser includes a rotatable or slidable carriage. The carriage includes at least one compartment horizontally disposed above an optional funnel. The carriage is rotatable about a central axis or translatable parallel to and below the hopper. A hopper is disposed above the carriage and communicates with less than all compartments. Each compartment is capable of separately dispensing a powder from the hopper into the funnel and thereafter into the container resting on the base. The tower is disposed between and attached at opposing ends to the base and the dispenser. The apparatus is useful, for example, in preparing baby formula and other food for infants, as well as in preparing food and drink for children and adults.

An example lid assembly can include a lid and a slider. The lid can include a wall defining a recess. The slider can be configured to slide in the recess and can be configured to move between a closed position where the slider covers the opening to aid in preventing spilling of contents of the container and an opened position where the slider uncovers the opening such that the contents of the container can be consumed. The slider can be configured to be removable from the lid and can be replaced back on the lid. Additionally, the slider can be configured to lock into place on the recess in both the closed position and the opened position.
