Closure and Lid and Method of Forming Closure and Lid
An example lid assembly can include a lid and a slider. The lid can include a wall defining a recess. The slider can be configured to slide in the recess and can be configured to move between a closed position where the slider covers the opening to aid in preventing spilling of contents of the container and an opened position where the slider uncovers the opening such that the contents of the container can be consumed. The slider can be configured to be removable from the lid and can be replaced back on the lid. Additionally, the slider can be configured to lock into place on the recess in both the closed position and the opened position.
Liquid container lid assembly
A lid assembly outfits a liquid container and may function to position a liquid-permeable container relative to the liquid container. The lid assembly may include a lid body having a rim-receiving groove, an object-supportive depression, and a primary liquid-letting aperture. The primary liquid-letting aperture primarily enables liquid egression from the liquid container. The object-supportive depression supports objects and defines a tertiary liquid-letting aperture for outletting liquid into the liquid container. A lid body insert may be received and supported by the lid body in superior adjacency to the object-supportive depression and has a secondary liquid-letting aperture and an insert axis. The lid body insert is rotatable about the insert axis intermediate open and closed lid positions such that the secondary liquid-letting aperture is rotatably positionable either in superior or lateral adjacency to the primary liquid-letting aperture for selectively opening and closing the lid assembly.
DISPENSER FOR USE WITH AN ELONGATED EDIBLE CONFECTION
A system for dispensing an edible confection includes an elongate edible gummy confection having a first end and a second end. The dispensing system includes a cutting assembly and a housing. The housing includes an inner chamber adapted for storing the edible confection and an outlet adapted to receive the second end of the edible confection. The cutter may be integrated in the housing, or part of a lid for the housing.
Mechanism for opening and reclosing the outflow opening for emptying a container, especially a beverage container
A mechanism for opening and reclosing the outflow opening for emptying a container, especially a beverage container, incorporating a latch to open and reclose the said outflow opening in the container lid, where the latch is fitted with hatching elements connected slidingly to the container lid, and where the lid features technical means suitable for moving the lid, characterised in that it contains at least one pair of sliding surfaces (3, 103), each of them incorporating at least one section in the shape of a convex arch, where moving on the said pair of sliding surfaces (3, 103) when shifting the latch (6, 106) is at least one pair of hatching elements (7, 107), and where ends (3a, 3b, 103a, 103b) of the sliding surfaces (3, 103) are positioned at different heights with respect to the bottom surface of the lid (1, 101) around the opening (2, 102).
Drinking Tumbler
A tumbler comprising: a tumbler body having a top region and a bottom region, a tumbler interior and a tumbler exterior periphery, the tumbler exterior periphery extending from said top region to said bottom region, said tumbler side periphery generally planer from said top region to said bottom region; said tumbler body having a tumbler top defining an opening in communication with the tumbler interior, a tumbler bottom and a tumbler sidewall for defining a liquid reservoir; at least one thread disposed within said tumbler interior; a lid for enclosing said tumbler interior; and said lid having at least one thread for matingly engaging said at least one thread disposed within said tumbler interior for interlocking said lid with said tumbler body maintaining said lid in a fixed position and wherein said lid may be removed from said tumbler body by rotational movement.
Liquid container lid assembly and method
A lid assembly includes a lid body and a lid body insert. The lid body includes an insert-receiving depression and a channel-guiding protuberance. The channel-guiding protuberance is formed at an upper depression surface of the insert-receiving depression. The insert-receiving depression is outfitted with a primary liquid outlet for enabling liquid egression therethrough. The lid body insert is receivable in the insert-receiving depression and includes a protuberance-receiving channel and a secondary liquid outlet. The protuberance-receiving channel receives the channel-guiding protuberance when the lid body insert is received in the insert-receiving depression. The lid body insert is rotatable intermediate first and second closed lid positions. The secondary liquid outlet is positionable in superior adjacency to the primary liquid outlet when in an open lid position for enabling liquid egression via both the primary and secondary liquid outlets. A lid assembly system and associated methodology is further contemplated.
Lid with actuator for valve assembly
A lid is described to reduce spillage or leakage of fluids contained in a beverage container. The lid includes the actuator that opens and closes a dispensing opening of the lid and also opens and closes a valve of the lid to reduce spillage or leakage from the beverage container. As the actuator is opened, the dispensing opening is uncovered and the valve opened.
SLIDER LID FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A lid for a beverage container includes a lid housing with a drink opening, a slider member, and a seal assembly. The seal assembly has a seal arm, a seal and a spring. The slider member slides linearly about the lid housing. A cam pivotally connected to the slider member engages the seal arm. The slider member and cam operate to move the seal arm from an open position to a sealed position. The drink opening is open when the seal arm is in the open position, and the drink opening is closed by the seal when the seal arm is in the closed position.
Drinking container with sliding closure
A drinking container comprising a vessel; a cap, atop said vessel; a flexible drinking straw extending from said cap, in flow communication with an interior of said vessel; a slidable, generally flat lid defining a cavity between said cap and said lid; wherein said lid is generally co-extensive with a top of said cap, and is slidably mounted to said cap to slide between an open position in which said flexible straw is extended for drinking, to a closed position in which said straw is flexed into said cavity.
INSULATED FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONTAINER
An insulated container includes a double-walled structure having a closed end, an open end, and a side wall extending from the closed end to the open end. The side wall and the closed end of the insulated container together form a hollow interior. A glass structure may be arranged within the hollow interior. The glass structure includes a body having an open upper end and a closed base end. According to an aspect, the insulated container includes a cover having a sipping portion. According to an aspect, the glass structure includes a sipping portion protruding from the double-walled structure, and a collar is positioned over the sipping portion of the glass structure.
