Cap suitable for use with enteral feeding container
A cap for use in enteral feeding from a container. The cap includes a base and an insert cutter. The base has a top surface, a bottom surface, and an outer ring. The top surface has a protruding port suitable for insertion of a spike connector. The protruding port defines a spike insertion chamber extending from a spike connector insert aperture to a spike connector outlet aperture. The outer ring is configured for attachment to a container having a mouth. The insert cutter has a first end portion attached to the bottom surface of the base and about an edge of the spike connector outlet aperture and a second end portion extending over at least a portion of the spike connector outlet aperture. The insert cutter is capable of flexing in an insertion direction of a spike connector inserted through the spike insertion chamber.
Dispensing closure
A dispensing closure for covering an opening of a container including a liquid is presented. The dispensing closure includes an engagement element that fits over the opening of the container and defines a pouring orifice for allowing pouring of the liquid. The pouring orifice having a side defining an air channel for allowing air to flow into the container when liquid during the pouring. The engagement element also includes outer walls and a cap having a hollow including inner walls tightly conforming to the outer walls, a first orifice generally conforming in shape to the pouring orifice, and a second orifice generally conforming in shape to the air channel.
CONTAINER ELEMENT WITH INCLINED SIDE WALLS FOR DIMENSIONALLY STABLE FOODSTUFF CONTAINER
The invention pertains to a container element, comprising a non-planar component, wherein the container element is designed to form a first part of a container wall at least partially surrounding a container interior of a container; wherein the non-planar component comprises a base member, and a spout arranged on the base member;
wherein the base member comprises a base plate, and at least 3 sidewalls;
wherein the spout is arranged on a first side of the base plate; wherein the side walls are arranged on a further side of the base plate; wherein the side walls are inclined towards each other in a longitudinal direction of the non-planar component so that each of the side walls is inclined at an angle in a range of from 55 to 70 to the longitudinal direction. The invention further pertains to a process of manufacturing the container element; to a container; a process, in which a container is obtained; and a use of the container element.
OPENING DEVICE FOR A PACKAGE AND PACKAGE THEREWITH
An opening device includes a collar and a cutter at least partially arranged within a flow channel delimited by the collar. The opening device further comprises a retaining device configured to block movement of the cutter out of the flow channel and through a pouring outlet of the collar. The opening device, also comprises a flange protruding from the cutter.
CLOSURE ASSEMBLY FOR A CONTAINER AND CONTAINER HAVING A CLOSURE ASSEMBLY
A closure assembly for a container filled or fillable with a pourable product includes at least a lid having a first rim, a ring member having a second rim facing the first rim and one or more coupling elements, each one being connected to the first rim and to the second rim. Each coupling element comprises at least one respective intermediate portion, one respective first curved portion connected to the first rim and the intermediate portion and one respective second curved portion connected to the second rim and the intermediate portion. The intermediate portion is inclined with respect to the first rim and/or the second rim.
Closure assembly for a container and container having a closure assembly
A closure assembly for a container filled or fillable with a pourable product, the closure assembly comprising: a collar including an outer threaded portion; a lid including inner threaded portion, wherein the inner threaded portion and the outer threaded portion are configured to allow for fastening the lid to the collar by rotating the lid relative to the collar in a first rotation direction and for loosening the lid from the collar by rotating the lid relative to the collar in a second rotation direction; a ring member; a cutting device; a control device configured to control the cutting device; one or more coupling elements, each having a first end connected to the lid and a second end connected to the ring member, wherein the first end is positioned downstream of the second end along the second rotation direction.
Closure assembly for a container and container having a closure assembly
A closure assembly for a container filled or fillable with a pourable product comprising at least a lid having a first rim, a ring member having a second rim facing the first rim and one or more coupling elements, each one being connected to the first rim and to the second rim. Each coupling element comprises at least one respective intermediate portion, one respective first curved portion connected to the first rim and the intermediate portion and one respective second curved portion connected to the second rim and the intermediate portion. The intermediate portion is inclined with respect to the first rim and/or the second rim.
