The stopper (2) comprises at least a second perforable membrane (22). The capsule (1) comprises a second cutter (32) for cutting the second membrane, said second cutter (32) being movable between a start stroke position and an end stroke position; in the start stroke position of the second cutter (32), in combination with at least the second membrane (22), the second cutter (32) delimiting a second tank (42) for containing a second substance; in the end stroke position of the second cutter (32) at least a part of the second membrane (22) being perforated and enabling passage of the second substance from the second tank (42) to the container
INFANT FORMULA PREPARATION APPARATUS
An assembly for dispensing a substance into a receptacle, the assembly comprising: a) a first portion connected to an opening of the receptacle; b) a chamber for containing the substance, the chamber being at least partly located within the first portion; c) a seal located below the chamber, the seal retaining the substance in the chamber; d) a removable stop member; and wherein removal of the stop member enables the chamber to be moved downwardly to cause the seal to open and release the substance into the receptacle.
CONTAINER AND CLOSURE WITH SUBSTANCE STORAGE MEANS
An assembly including a container having a first end and an opposing second end. The assembly also includes a housing for removably receiving a cartridge of the type including a substance storage compartment for storing a substance therein. The housing is connectable to the second end of the container. When connected to the container, the housing is movable relative to the container. A rupturing device is provided for rupturing the storage compartment upon relative movement between the housing and container, so as to combine any storage compartment contents with any container contents. The rupturing device is mounted within the container. A container opening is provided in the first end of the container; and a closure provided for sealing the container opening. The closure is movable between a closed position, and an open position for providing access to the container.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION AND ORAL ADMINISTRATION OF A LIQUID COMPOSITION
The invention concerns a device and a method for the preparation of a liquid composition for oral administration of a liquid composition formed by a liquid component and a component in powder form, for the treatment of persons affected by metabolic disorders, in particular appropriately selecting the compounds to be added to the drink according to the specific metabolic disorder.
CAP DEVICE FOR BOTTLES
Cap reservoir device for a food bottle comprising a container with a neck on which the cap reservoir device is intended to be assembled in order to hermetically close the interior of the container. The cap reservoir device comprises: a capsule comprising a chamber closed by a bottom wall, the chamber being filled with a gas hermetically sealed by the capsule and the cap before actuation of the actuator, a cap in which the capsule is disposed, the cap comprising a base part adapted to be fixed to the neck of the bottle, a removable actuator comprising a perforator adapted to perforate the bottom wall, and soluble nuggets comprising an active component surrounded by an envelope or a matrix of a soluble food substance protecting the active component against chemical alteration.
Bottle cap with selectable additives
A cap for bottles that allows a user to select additives. A base has an axis with a coaxial cavity, typically threaded, for attachment to the bottle. A housing rotates and reciprocates on the axis between a selecting position where the housing and base are pulled apart and an operative position where the housing and base are pushed together. Compartments with additives and one or more vacant locations are arranged in a circle around the axis inside the housing. An opening in the compartment bottom is covered by a frangible seal. As the housing rotates, the compartment openings or vacant location align with an aperture in the base that extends into the cavity. Spikes extending from the aperture puncture the compartment opening seal when the housing is pushed to the operative position, allowing the additive to flow into the bottle. The vacant locations provide positions for storage and transportation.
CAP FOR PACKING CONTAINERS INCLUDING AN INTEGRAL POWDER OR LIQUID
A cap for use with a container having a liquid food, the cap including a spout sealed at one end by a lid and at the other end by a foil and including a blister pack containing a component to be added to the liquid food at the time of consumption, the fully assembled cap adapted to be sealingly attached to the container having an opening sealed by a foil. Various mechanisms are proposed to break the foils of both the cap and the container to allow the component to be mixed with the liquid food. The cap may further include a seal to prevent ingress of particulates and/or water.
SELF-CARBONATING BEVERAGE CONTAINER
The present invention relates to a self-carbonating beverage container, comprising: a) beverage can housing adapted to hold to hold a fixed portion of liquid; b) a carbonating gas bottle containing carbonating gas stored under pressure having a breakable seal through which said carbonating gas is released, wherein said carbonating gas bottle is attached to said can; and c) a spout attached to said can such that one end of said spout is introduced into the beverage can housing and the spout other end comprises puncturing mean and it faces the breakable seal of said carbonating gas bottle, wherein actuating said puncturing mean enables the carbonating gas to flow into the beverage can housing.
Beverage container and lid assembly
A beverage container may comprise a beverage container lid assembly comprising at least one concentrate well to hold a concentrate vessel, a concentrate vessel retainer for each concentrate well to secure the concentrate vessel in the concentrate well, a feed line for each concentrate well comprising a feed line needle to puncture the concentrate vessel in the at least one concentrate well, a Venturi mixer in fluid communication with each feed line, a mixing valve in fluid communication with each feed line, wherein fluid flows from the concentrate vessel to the Venturi mixer when the mixing valve is open and the concentrate vessel is punctured by the feed line needle. Methods of using the beverage container and beverage container lid assembly are also described.
Mixing Device for Nicotine and Flavoring
A mixing device for infusing/blending liquid nicotine with flavored e-juice. The mixing device includes a tubular body, a plunger screw cap, a puncture mechanism, and a capsule pod. The plunger screw cap includes a disk cap and a pod-receiving tube. The puncture mechanism includes a piercing portion and a structural mount. The piercing portion is mounted within the tubular body by the structural mount, oriented towards a bottom end of the tubular body. The piercing portion breaks open the capsule pod. The plunger screw cap is positioned adjacent to the bottom end. The pod-receiving tube holds the capsule pod and is concentrically connected to the disk cap. The pod-receiving tube is concentrically positioned within the tubular body, adjacent to the bottom end. The plunger screw cap is concentrically and slidably mounted along the tubular body to translate the capsule pod towards and away from the puncture mechanism.
