COMPARTMENTALIZED CONTAINER FOR MIXING VESSEL
20240417148 · 2024-12-19 · ·

A drinking container has a lid that attaches to a vessel. The lid has a sidewall that forms a chamber with an opening. A spring-loaded door is pivotable between a closed position that seals the chamber opening from the vessel and an open position that allows transfer of fluid or solids between the chamber and the vessel. A lever has a catch that engages and holds the door in the closed position unless the lever is actuated by the user. The lever can be actuated by the user through an area on the lid that allows operation of the lever from the exterior of the container. The drinking container may include additional chambers with corresponding spring-loaded doors that are released through an area on the lid.

Closure device for a container
12214944 · 2025-02-04 · ·

A closure device for a container with a container opening has a lid element for closing the container opening, a chamber assigned to the lid element and an inner housing. The chamber and the inner housing have closing and opening elements that correspond to one another. The chamber locks with the inner housing, the lock with the inner housing being offset radially inwards in respect of a vertical of the closure device over a greatest width of the chamber in the offset direction. In order to specify a closure device which allows emptying of the chamber as the lid element is removed in an easy-to-handle fashion, with further preferred favorable manufacturability of the closure device, the lock in the vertical direction is designed separately from a shoulder section of the inner housing formed on the base side under the lock.

Containers and methods for mixing and dispensing beverage concentrates

A container (10) for dispensing a liquid beverage concentrate is provided. The liquid beverage concentrate is formed of a first beverage component, disposed in a body (12), and a second beverage component, disposed within a cartridge (30) at least partially within the body, that are initially isolated. The first and second beverage components can be combined to form the liquid beverage concentrate by moving the cartridge, such as further into the body, to unblock a flow path (36) between the cartridge and the body.

Adapter for containers

The present invention concerns an adapter (1) which is suitable to be mounted on and to cooperate with the neck (7) of a container (3) in order to allow a product contained in the adapter (1) to flow out into the interior of said container (3), said adaptor including: at least one tank (4) which is suitable to contain said product, said tank (4) having a first opening (2) which is suitable to transfer said product from the tank (4) into the interior of the container (3), a single-use or reversible movable means for sealingly closing (5) the first opening (2), a means for activating (25) the movable means for sealingly closing (5) so as to allow said movable means for sealingly closing (5) to open and said product contained in the tank to flow out into the interior of the container (3).
The present invention also relates to a container comprising said adapter and to a method for preparing and/or serving a liquid.

ADJUSTABLE ADDITIVE CARTRIDGE SYSTEMS

An adjustable additive cartridge that provides adjustable metering of additive to a base fluid as the base fluid is flowing through the cartridge. A spout is mounted for limited rotation within a base element of the cartridge. Rotation of the spout results in varying degrees of flow of additive into a base fluid flow path through the cartridge. The cartridge may be used with a portable beverage container, such as a sports bottle or off-the-shelf water bottle. The supply of base fluid in a container used with the cartridge may be kept in an unmixed, pure state, and other cartridges, each having different additives (i.e., flavors) may be used interchangeably with the same base fluid supply. The cartridge allows a consumer/user to experience different additives, such as different flavors or supplement compositions, for a given supply of base liquid in a single container. A check valve on the cartridge prevents backflow of the base fluid. An integrated filter for filtering base fluid flowing into the cartridge may be provided. The additive cartridge may be sealed to provide for extended storage and to provide a user/consumer with evidence of integrity, quality and/or tampering prior to purchase and/or use. Visual and tactile indicators of the amount of additive being added to a base fluid may be provided. A container may retain a spare additive adjustable cartridge on the container.

The invention relates to a closure device (1) for a container (2) comprising a container opening (3), wherein the closure device (1) comprises a lid element (4) for closing the container opening (3), an inner housing (5) and a chamber (6) arranged on the lid element (4), wherein the chamber (6) is arranged at least partially in the inner housing (5), wherein the inner housing (5) has a first thread (10) which corresponds positively to a thread (10) of the container (2), wherein lid element (4) and inner housing (5) have second threads (11) corresponding positively to one another along which the lid element (4) is movable relative to the inner housing (5) from a closed position into a discharge position in which discharge position a medium stored in the chamber (6) can exit into the container (2). For the usage-advantageous further development of a closure device of the type in question, it is proposed that the first thread (10) and the second thread (11) are configured opposite to one another in such a manner that during a movement into the discharge position the chamber (6) is moved further into the inner housing (5).

Bottle cap

A bottle cap that is an apparatus for containing heterogeneous materials, applied in the discharge direction of materials in a container, comprises: a main body coupled to a bottle neck; and a containing unit assembled inside the main body with a storage space. An activated unit is assembled in the center of the upper support unit of the main body. An activation unit for downward movement is coupled to the activated unit so that the activated unit may move downward by a separate activation unit. An opening/closing unit is coupled with the lower part of the activated unit with the above structure in order to seal an opening/closing hole of the storage space.

Container closure assembly

A closure assembly has a closure cap (2) adapted to be fitted to the neck of container to close the container. The cap (2) has an upper wall (4) and a cylindrical skirt (5) depending therefrom. A reservoir (7) is formed on the underside of the upper wall (4) radially within the skirt (5) and has a dispensing opening (9). A closing member (3) is fitted into the closure cap (2) to close the dispensing opening in the reservoir. When the closure cap (2) is removed from the container, the closing member (3) remains held within the neck of the container and is separated from the closure cap so that the dispensing opening is opened and material contained therein is dispensed into the container. The closure cap is provided with sealing means for directly sealing against the neck of a container such as an annular wall (12) extendin downwardly from the underside of the upper wall of the closure cap (2) to fit sealingly into the neck of the container.
