CABLE TIE
Disclosed is a cable tie including a tie band which is formed in a shape of a strap to bind cables, and is provided with a plurality of serrated grooves continuously formed on a one surface thereof in a longitudinal direction, and a tie holder which is connected to one end of the tie band and includes a tie band passage, through which the other end of the tie band passes, and a serrated locking protrusion formed on an inner surface of the tie band passage and interference-latched to the serrated grooves. The tie band is provided with a cut guide groove formed on one or both widthwise edges thereof, so that a free end of the tie band remaining when the tie band binds the cables together is cut off by a rotating force generated when the free end is twisted, without using a cutting tool.
High Strength Single Piece Cable Tie Locking Mechanism
A cable tie includes a flexible elongate strap and a head attached to a first end of the strap. The head has a front wall, side walls and a rear wall defining an aperture. The front wall has at least one fixed tooth formed thereon and the rear wall has a flexural element formed thereon opposite the at least one fixed tooth, wherein the at least one fixed tooth and the flexural element are configured to permit a second end of the strap opposite the head to be inserted through the head aperture in a first direction and being further configured to prevent movement of the second end of the strap from the head aperture in a second direction opposite the first direction.
FASTENER
There is provided a fastener including a band, a band fastening portion and a mounting portion. The band fastening portion includes a passage hole, a locking claw, a supporting wall portion, and a pair of side wall portions. The supporting wall portion extends in a direction from an inlet opening towards an outlet opening and has end faces. The band has a proximal end portion extending from the end face of the supporting wall portion. The pair of side wall portions are disposed so as to define a gap in a widthwise direction between the proximal end portion and themselves. End faces of the pair of side wall portions project further in a passing direction of the band through the passage hole than the end face of the supporting wall portion.
Cable Tie Strap and Buckle
A low-profile cable tie strap and buckle assembly that secures a bundle. The cable tie strap includes a head, a body with a plurality of teeth and a tip. The cable tie strap also has locking tabs that extend from each side of the cable tie strap. The buckle has a first end with a raised member defining a horizontal strap passageway and a second end with a vertical strap passageway. The cable tie strap is installed in the first end of the buckle and the locking tabs secure the cable tie strap to the buckle. The cable tie strap wraps around the bundle. The free end of the cable tie strap is installed in the second end of the buckle to secure the bundle.
Loop Forming Fastener
A loop forming fastener including a ratchet and locking features that can be utilized to provide for a desired loop size. The loop forming fastener may include an elongate body portion having a first end and an opposite tail portion, with a head connected to the elongate body, the head defining an opening configured to receive the elongate body to form a loop. A ratchet may allow movement of the body through the opening in a first direction, but prevents movement in a second direction. The elongate body may include a stopper to maintain at least a minimum loop size. The head may include a locking mechanism to lock the elongate body, and thereby establish a desired size of the loop.
BUDDY CLIP
What is disclosed herein is a fastener device, namely a ratcheting clamp, having a reusable clamping feature. The reusable clamping feature may comprise a flexible arm. The flexible arm may comprise overlapping end portions, namely an overlapping inner end and an overlapping outer end along with a locking member for selectively engaging with a top arm. The overlapping outer end may comprise at least one tooth or a plurality of teeth positioned along the overlapping outer end. Further, the fastener device may comprise at least one optional elongated rib on the flexible arm positioned adjacent to the at least one tooth or plurality of teeth of the toothed overlapping outer end that prevents lateral movement of the toothed overlapping outer end when engaged with the locking member and exposed to lateral forces, thereby reducing the likelihood of premature failure of the fastener device. The fastener device disclosed may also utilize a reusable clamping feature. The fastener device may also comprise a cradle and an encapsulation slot for a standard tie to wrap around, thus allowing for a wide range of diameters for the cables, wires, hoses, tubing, or other materials. The fastener device may also comprise a slotted fir tree component, and a retention dish may sit on top of the slotted fir tree component to ensure the fastener device is held in place with vertical forces.
PREFORMED AND REUSABLE BUNDLING STRAP
A cable tie structure for bundling cables may include a preformed strap body having a convex inner surface, the preformed strap body comprising a receiver end and a toothed end, the toothed end having a plurality of teeth extending from at least a portion of the inner surface and designed to engage with the receiver end. The locking head may include an L-shaped overhand retainer arm formed of a side wall extending substantially perpendicularly from the strap body; an upper wall extending substantially perpendicularly from the side wall at an end of the side wall distal from the strap body such that the upper wall is substantially parallel to the strap body; and an open side opposite the side wall. A clip arm may extend at an angle from the strap body toward the upper wall. The clip arm may include clip arm teeth and a beveled outer edge.
Band clip
A Band clip that, when an electrical wire has been attached to a target by the clip, makes it possible to position a shaft portion of the clip toward the widthwise center of the electrical wire while also reducing the dimension from the target to the electrical wire. The band clip includes a dish portion, a shaft portion, a locking portion, a band portion, and a band locking portion. The band portion includes a hinge portion, one end of which is connected to the dish portion, and a band main body portion formed with a narrow belt shape so as to extend from the other end of the hinge portion. The band main body portion is formed so as to extend in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the shaft portion, and the hinge portion includes a curved portion.
Cable tie
A cable tie having a desired length of flexible belt and a buckle connected to one longitudinal end of the belt may include rack teeth that are formed in one surface of the belt and are arranged in a longitudinal direction of the belt, an engagement strip that is positioned in a through hole of the buckle and is configured to be deformed about its proximal end connected to an inner wall of the buckle, and an engagement claw that is formed in the engagement strip. The engagement strip is configured to be deformed due to contact with the belt inserted into the through hole of the buckle, so that a crossing angle is formed between the engagement surface of the engagement claw and the tooth surface of one of the rack teeth in a fastened condition in which the belt is inserted into the through hole of the buckle and is tightened.
