Drill bit packaging
A packaging assembly for a drill bit. The packaging assembly includes a front clip including a front side, a rear side opposite the front side, a drill bit holding region configured to receive a portion of the drill bit, and a post extending from the drill bit holding region. The packaging assembly also includes a back clip that is separate from the front clip. The back clip includes an aperture that receives the post. The post includes an enlarged, melted head to inhibit removal of the back clip from the front clip.
Separable blister card package
A disposable package is configured to promote recycling of its component parts. A thermoformed thermoplastic blister has a product bubble which extends from a peripheral flange to extend through an opening in a front card. The front card is affixed to a back card so as not to adhere to the blister flange. An extraction tab extends from the product bubble into the front card opening to be accessible from both the front and back of the package being thereby accessible for gripping by a user to engage and remove the blister from the front card and the back card.
RECYCLABLE METALLIZED BARRIER FILMS AND BAGS FOR PACKAGING FLOWABLE MATERIALS
The disclosure provides co-extruded, multi-layer films, including metallized barrier films and non-barrier films, and articles of manufacture that include the films, such as flexible bags and containers for flowable materials. The films and articles that include the films have good heat retention, and barrier properties, as well as good flex-crak resistance and toughness. The films and articles that include the films have a metallized barrier core layer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer wherein both the metal and EVOH are in amounts that achieve the heat retention, flex-crack resistance, toughness, and barrier properties, while allowing for the recycling of the films and articles of manufacture.
CONTAINER FOR A HEART PUMP DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A HEART PUMP DEVICE
The invention relates to a container for a heart pump device with a first receiving space for a compressible and expandable heart pump, wherein the first receiving space is delimited on several sides, in particular on all sides, by one or more closure elements and is closed off to the outside for preventing a contacting of the heart pump, wherein the closure elements) leave free an opening for the passage of a catheter from the outside into the first receiving space, wherein the diameter of the opening is dimensioned such that the heart pump can pass this exclusively in a condition which is at least partly compressed compared to the expanded condition. For implantation, the heart pump in the container can firstly be operated by trial in the container whilst feeding a rinsing fluid and can then be pulled through the opening amid simultaneous compression, into a sheath element.
PACKAGE CONTAINING WATER-SOLUBLE CAPSULES
A package comprising at least one layer of biodegradable material and containing a plurality of unit dose products, at least one unit dose product comprising a detergent composition comprising hydrogenated castor oil within a sealed compartment formed by a water soluble film.
Blister card with flange strap
A sandwich-type blister card is provided to contain a product item such as a pliers or scissors with a handle extending outside of the blister. The blister card includes a back panel, a front panel, and a blister having a blister cavity and a peripheral flange. The blister includes a wrap-around strap attached to the blister at a first end of the strap to secure a portion of the product therein. The peripheral flange and a second end of the strap are sealed between the front and back panels.
FILMS INCLUDING A WATER-SOLUBLE LAYER AND A VAPOR-DEPOSITED INORGANIC COATING
Films including a water-soluble layer and a vapor-deposited inorganic coating are disclosed. The films exhibit enhanced barrier properties.
PACKAGING MATERIAL FILM, PACKAGING MATERIAL, PACKAGING BAG, AND PACKAGE BODY
The present disclosure relates to a packaging material film including a first resin layer that contains a polyolefin resin and fillers. In a first embodiment, protrusions are formed on a surface of the first resin layer by the fillers, and a water sliding angle at room temperature of an oil film on the surface of the first resin layer is 20? or less. In a second embodiment, a ratio Y/X of a surface area ratio Y of a surface of the first resin layer with respect to an arithmetic mean height Sa X ?m of the surface of the first resin layer is 0.4 to 8.0 ?m.sup.?1.
RECYCLABLE FLEXIBLE FILMS AND BAGS FOR PACKAGING FLOWABLE MATERIALS
The disclosure provides ethylene/?-olefin copolymer based co-extruded, multi-layer films, including barrier films and non-barrier films, and articles of manufacture that include the films, such as flexible bags and containers for flowable materials. The films and articles that include the films have improved flex-crak reisstance and toughness. The films and articles that include the films have good barrier properties as the barrier films include a core layer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer having a high ethylene content. The low amount of EVOH copolymer in the total film that is needed to achieve the flex-crack resistance, toughness, and good barrier properties, further allow for the recycling of the films and articles of manufacture.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING AN EDGE
The present invention relates to a method and a device for folding a foil material half-shell edge which protrudes from a surface of the packaging of a packaged food product, said half-shells receiving the food product. The half-shells have flanges, at least some regions of which lie one on top of the other and which form the protruding edge. The aim of the invention is to improve a quick and reliable method which can be carried out with little effort for improving the appearance of food products packaged in foil half-shells. This is achieved in that during a relative movement between a packaged food product and a die, an edge region of the die presses against the protruding edge of the foils, whereby the edge of the foils is at least partly folded to lie substantially flush on one of the half-shells. The invention further relates to a device which corresponds to the method.
