Blister sheet and blister packaging machine

A blister sheet includes a container film including pockets receiving a content, and a cover film mounted to the container film to close the pockets. The container and the cover film are made of synthetic resins. The cover film is thinner than the container film. One pair of cuts formed for each pocket passes through the container and the cover film and extends to the pocket such that each pocket is placed between the cuts. The container and the cover film are broken from the one pair of cuts toward the pocket. A cutting slit or perforation is formed in the container film to allow for separation of the blister sheet into sheet pieces. The cutting slit or perforation is extended to intersect with the cut and a portion of the cutting slit or perforation that intersects with the cut passes through the container and the cover film.

This invention provides a blister pack comprising a base sheet having a plurality of blisters formed therein, each of which has an opening and is configured for containing a unit dose of a deformable or fragile product, with a lid sheet attached to said base sheet for covering the openings of said blisters. The blister pack further comprises a reinforcing sheet with cut-out sections that form ledges near said blister openings. Such ledges can be used for cutting the lid sheet at said blister openings and releasing the unit doses of said deformable or fragile product.

The first carrier sheet is sealed to the second carrier sheet such that a second internal atmosphere (82) exists between the second carrier sheet and the plurality of pouches. The second internal atmosphere has a greater absolute pressure (P) than the first internal atmosphere so that the plurality of pouches and at least a portion of the cleaning composition in the plurality of pouches are compressed into the plurality of depressions in the first carrier sheet by the second internal atmosphere.

The flap has a free edge for engagement with the locking edge of the inner panel to prevent the slider from being removed from the outer sleeve when the slider is fully received within the outer sleeve. The outer panel of the outer sleeve includes a release button at least partially overlapping the flap of the slider when the slider is fully inserted in the outer sleeve, and being pressable so as to disengage the free edge of the slider flap from the locking edge of the outer sleeve wall to permit the slider to be withdrawn from the outer sleeve.
