Blister pack for button battery
The invention relates to a blister pack (1) for a button battery, comprising a blister foil (4) designed to form at least one housing for receiving at least one button battery, and integral with a base (2). According to the invention, the blister pack comprises, between the base (2) and the blister foil (4), a reinforcing foil (6) which has inter alia a tensile strength of between 1,200 kg/cm.sup.2 and 3,100 kg/cm.sup.2according to the ASTM D 882 standard. Moreover, an orifice opening into the hosung is provided.
Process for separating package blister from cards for recycling
A method for separating a package blister from the cards which retain it to promote recycling of the component parts of a package. A thermoformed thermoplastic blister has a product bubble which extends from a peripheral flange to extend through an opening in a front card. The front card is affixed to a back card so as not to adhere to the blister flange. The blister has a pull feature which is accessible for gripping by a user to engage and remove the blister from the front card and the back card. To separate the blister from the cards a user grips the pull feature and pulls the blister frontwardly, thereby distorting the blister and extracting the blister from the cards, to fully separate the blister from the front card and the back card, permitting the entire package to be recycled.
Packaged Personal Care Implement
A package for an oral care implement. The package may have an exposed outer surface, a package portion forming a first portion of the exposed outer surface, and a reusable cap forming a second portion of the exposed outer surface. The package portion may define a first cavity and the reusable cap may define a second cavity. The package portion may be formed by a backer panel and a cover panel that are coupled together to define the first cavity. The reusable cap may have a flange that is sandwiched between the backer panel and the cover panel to secure the reusable cap to the package portion. A personal care implement may be disposed within the package so that a first portion of personal care implement is located within the first cavity and a second portion of the personal care implement is located within the second cavity.
METHOD FOR PACKAGING DENTAL COMPONENTS, IN PARTICULAR ARTIFICIAL TEETH, AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a method for packaging dental components, comprising the method steps: producing or providing a dental component; arranging the dental component with a support side on a support surface of a three-dimensional carrier element, the dental component projecting beyond the edge of the support surface on at least one side, forming a peripheral area; providing a sheet-like semi-finished plastic product comprising a thermoplastic resin; forming the sheet-like plastic semi-finished product in a thermoforming process for form closure of the dental component in a plastic structure, such that the dental component is positively surrounded by the plastic structure in the peripheral area on the support side of the dental component; and separating the dental component partially surrounded by the plastic structure from the carrier element to obtain a packaging system comprising the dental component packaged in the plastic structure.
TRAY WITH RE-CLOSEABLE LID
A tray for displaying a product for sale, where the tray includes a re-closeable lid. The tray includes a base having a peripheral side wall with a rim bounding an opening to a cavity which retains the product. A portion of the lid is permanently engaged with a section of the base. The rest of the lid is selectively engageable with the rest of the base and is movable between open and closed positions. When closed, a part of the lid is positioned laterally adjacent the rim and is located in a common plane therewith. The edges of the rim and lid frictionally engage each other to secure the base and lid together. The movable part of the lid, which includes a frame member and flexible film, rotate about a living hinge in the frame member. A latching mechanism is engaged to keep the lid and base engaged.
Reusable blister package assembly
The disclosed technology includes blister package assemblies that include a reusable blister pouch. The blister package assembly can have an enclosure housing having a first card and a second card. The second card can be opposed to a separably joinable to the first card. The blister package assembly can have a reusable blister pouch that can enclose an object and have a fastener that transition the reusable blister pouch between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The reusable blister pouch can be secured between the opposing first and second cards when the first and second cards are joined and a portion of the reusable blister pouch can displayed through an opening of the first card and/or the second card.
Blister package for contact lens
A blister package for a contact lens is provided. A deformable slider supporting a lens is movable via pull-tab or hinge to lift the contact lens out of a lens well. The deformable slider can include a hinge connected to a flexible peel-away top of the blister package or connected to a pull tab that can be pulled to pull taut the deformable slider. A blister package is also provided that includes a hinged shell having a lateral opening opposite the hinge, and a deformable slider that is folded over onto itself and seals both a top chamber and a bottom chamber. By pulling a tongue of the deformable slider, which extends from the lateral opening, the deformable slider can be removed from the closed shell and the closed shell can be opened enabling access to the contact lens.
INSERT WITH BASE AND UPPER BRIM
The insert includes a base with an upper brim, the base including a first depression extending from a first flat major surface of the upper brim, the first depression including a floor with walls that define a first cavity, the walls including a first pair of opposing walls and a second pair of opposing walls, the first pair of opposing walls taper towards each other along a longitudinal length of the first depression from a first end to a second end of the first depression, and a lid connected to the upper brim, the lid covering the first cavity.
BLANK WITH WIDE PANELS AND NARROW PANELS, AND PACKAGE WITH BLANK
The blank includes two or more wide panels, and at least two narrow panels attached to the two or more wide panels, each of the two or more wide panels being separated from each other by at least one of the at least two narrow panels, a first narrow panel, of the at least two narrow panels, defining a first tear strip, the first tear strip having a first longitudinal length that spans across a first width of the first narrow panel, the first longitudinal length being perpendicular to a second longitudinal length of the blank.
Packaging System with Tamper Evidence/Child Resistant Latch
A system of a tamper evidence/child resistant latch device and an enclosure is disclosed. The latching device and the enclosure will remain separate to each other as items that can be attached to each other to become as one item only when the enclosure such as a bag and/or a blister pack is packaged with a commodity. The system requires hand-resistance to break a seal to gain access to the commodity. The seal aligns with a matching internal hook so designed that must be hand-broken to gain access to the commodity. A commodity having a value and not considered as dangerous to a child, can provide new security levels. The system requires the dexterity of two hands, as a capacity belonging to an adult, but would be difficult for a child.
