Packaging For Solid Dosage Forms Of Melatonin With A High Citric Acid Concentration
Melatonin tablets with a high concentration of citric acid are packaged in a blister package that enhances storage stability. Such a packaging material includes a blister film forming a cavity holding the tablet therein. The blister film includes a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film having a thickness of 180 m to 270 m coated with a polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) coating having a coating weight of 110 g/m.sup.2 to 130 g/m.sup.2. An aluminum foil lid closes the cavity and encapsulates the tablet within the blister film and lid. The lid has a thickness of 20 m to 30 m.
HARDWARE PACKAGING
A hardware packaging assembly and method are provided. A hardware component has a front appearance surface and a back mounting surface. A package backing has a forward receiving surface to receive the back mounting surface of the hardware component. A retention feature protrudes from the package backing to engage the hardware component with an interference fit. The retention feature retains the hardware component on the package backing while maintaining the front appearance surface exposed.
Medical device packaging
Packaging (4) for an injection device (6, 92), the packaging comprising: a compartment (32) forming a recess configured to house the injection device therein, the compartment extending in a longitudinal direction, a depth direction, and having a variable lateral width to accommodate the injection device; a first sidewall (54) extending in the depth direction and longitudinal direction contiguous a portion of the compartment; and a lip (56) adjoining the sidewall and said portion of the compartment, wherein the first sidewall is arranged within a field of width of the compartment, the lip arranged at a height (h) from a base of said portion of the compartment, such that the lip and first sidewall prevent user gripping of a housed injection device at said portion of the compartment.
Packaged oral care implement and oral care implement thereof
An oral care implement including a handle extending along a longitudinal axis, a head coupled to one end of the handle, and a flexible support element coupled to the other end of the handle. In one embodiment, a reference plane that is non-parallel to the longitudinal axis of the handle contacts an outer surface of the handle without intersecting the flexible support element and without penetrating the outer surface of the handle. The oral care implement may be positioned within a product retaining cavity of a package with a portion of the oral care implement in contact with a support member of the package. In such embodiment, the oral care implement may be positioned such that the flexible support element is raised within the package so that it does not contact the support member.
Packaged oral care implement
A packaged oral care implement that includes a package having a blister carton with a receiving trough, an insert tray positioned within the receiving trough, and a backer panel enclosing an open rear end of the receiving trough. The insert tray may be located within a middle axial section of the receiving trough and is in a fixed axial position relative to the blister carton through mating contact between a retaining section of the blister carton and a portion of the insert tray. An oral care implement is positioned within the receiving trough of the blister carton such that an an sate body of the oral care implement is positioned within a product receiving channel of the insert tray to prevent movement of the oral care implement relative to the insert tray.
CONTAINER FOR PRODUCT
A container for packaging at least one product includes a front wall defining a first foot region at a lower end thereof; a bottom wall connected to a rear wall; first and second side walls connected to the rear wall and the bottom wall being disposed between the front wall and the rear wall, such that a receptacle is defined therebetween, wherein the at least one product is at least partially received between the first and second side walls, and a second foot region attached to the first foot region to form a foot that extends downwardly from the bottom wall away from the receptacle; and supports each opposite the foot, and wherein the container is configured such that upon seating the foot and the supports on a horizontal planar surface the container is inclined obliquely to the horizontal planar surface.
Contact lens blister package with double layer foil component
A blister package for a contact lens is provided that includes a body and a seal, one or both of which is made up of a double layer foil component. The double layer foil component can be a seal component made of a sheet of material folded upon itself and defining a seal, a flap, and a fold. The seal and the flap intersect at the fold and the flap can be pulled away from the seal to form a pull tab useful to peel back the seal and open the bowl. The body can also, or instead, be made of a double layer foil component that forms at least the bowl such that the bottom of the bowl is double-walled. The double-walled bowl exhibits improved strength and can be provided with strengthening features such as ribs, ridges, channels, or grooves.
Disposable container for precious goods
A disposable container for precious goods is manufactured by mutually joining a base with a preformed recess containing goods to be protected and a closing body. In the joint between the base and the body a transponder device is arranged. A process for checking the integrity and authenticity of a container includes steps of investing the container with a signal coming from an RF-ID reader; verifying the existence of a reply to said signal; transmitting said reply to an information system; comparing, within the information system, the reply with possible acceptable answers; issuing an acceptance or rejection signal, based on the result of the verifying and/or of the comparing, wherein the container consists of a disposable container for precious goods. The RFID reader verifies the integrity and authenticity of disposable containers containing jewels, processed or raw precious stones, coins, stamps, small bullions of precious metals, watches.
PACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PACKING
A packing system for a plurality of articles comprising: first and second packages; wherein each of the first and second packages comprises: a housing comprising a front wall and a rear wall, wherein the rear wall comprises a recessed portion; an article disposed within the housing, at least a part of the article protruding from the front wall of the housing; wherein the rear wall comprises a recessed portion, a shape of the recessed portion corresponding to a profile of the at least a part of the article protruding from the front wall, wherein the front wall of the second package is adjacent to the rear wall of the first package.
Packaged oral care implement and package
A packaged oral care implement and a package having an easy-open feature. In one embodiment, the invention utilizes a protuberance that acts as a fulcrum to force an edge of a tear-away portion to protrude from a surface of the package in response to a force being applied to a force-application area of the tear-away portion.
