An oral care implement is positioned within the receiving trough of the blister carton such that an an sate body of the oral care implement is positioned within a product receiving channel of the insert tray to prevent movement of the oral care implement relative to the insert tray.

The backer card is positioned within the receiving cavity between the toothbrush and the rear cover so that the window portion of the rear cover, the window aperture (301) of the backer card, a portion of the toothbrush, and the window portion of the front cover are transversely aligned.

A toothbrush having a handle and a head in a display package is described. The head is attached to a neck which is attached to the handle. An indication element is between the head and the handle and is in electrical communication with a power source. A switch connects the indication element to the power source and has a first position where the indication element is not energized and a second position where the indication element is energized. An adequate force applied to the head and an at least partially translucent package body moves the switch to the second position. The package body has a first face and a second face. The first face and/or the second face have a rugose area configured to facilitate application of a force to the head and/or neck through the package body to place the switch in the second position.

The peelable lidding member includes a first film layer and a second film layer that are laminated via an adhesive layer. The blister package is designed to be opened to provide access to the cavity and the items therein by peeling the peelable lidding member away from the receiving member. The peelable lidding member can be resealed to the receiving member by bringing the lidding member back into contact with exposed portions of the adhesive layer remaining on the peripheral portion of the receiving member.

Such a packaging material includes a blister film forming a cavity holding the tablet therein. The blister film includes a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film having a thickness of 180 μm to 270 μm coated with a polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) coating having a coating weight of 110 g/m.sup.2 to 130 g/m.sup.2. An aluminum foil lid closes the cavity and encapsulates the tablet within the blister film and lid. The lid has a thickness of 20 μm to 30 μm.

A packaging system for an elongate tool to be coupled to a surgical device. A segmented packaging body comprises a first distal section, a second distal section, and a proximal section. The first and second distal sections provide a clamshell casing to the distal end of the tool, and the proximal section is pivotally coupled to the first distal section and configured to receive the proximal end of the tool. The packaging body may comprise a living hinge and perforations to facilitate mounting the tool on the surgical device without the user touching the tool, thereby minimizing risk of contamination and/or injury. The proximal section may be detached from the clamshell casing at the perforations after the tool is mounted on the surgical device. Secondary packaging may be provided to receive the packaging body. Methods for mounting the tool disposed within the packaging system are also disclosed.
