A woven laminated plastic bag having an easy open feature is provided. The easy open feature is generally defined by a weakened portion in the bag. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from a woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.

A packaged oral care implement (1000) and method of opening the same. In one embodiment, the package (2000) includes a tab (106) on a first panel (100) of the package that is strategically located so that the oral care implement itself (1000) acts as a foundation or barrier adjacent to the tab that assists with shearing the first panel to release the tab.

A packing box for packaging of playing cards has, in an assembled state, a shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with six faces including front and rear faces, right and left side faces, and top and bottom faces. The packing box includes cut lines in two locations at a predetermined interval in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the rectangular parallelepiped, and a central band in a portion defined by the cut lines provided in the two locations. In this case, the first cutting groove is formed under the sealing part longitudinally.

A package configured to contain and provide for sterile presentation of a product. The package includes a housing portion, a handling portion integrally formed with the housing portion, and a separation feature. The housing portion defines an interior product storage cavity and extends from a first end to a second end. The handling portion includes a cuff at the second end of the housing portion and a gripping portion extending from the cuff. The gripping portion is configured to extend inside the cuff and toward the storage cavity. The separation feature is disposed between the cuff and the housing portion, and the separation feature is configured to separate the housing portion and the handling portion.

A package is described herein with an opening feature including a flap defined by cut and score lines formed in a film of the package. The flap can be at least partially in a front wall portion of the package to be peeled back and expose an opening to an interior of the package. The flap can also extend across a package such that peeling back of the flap removes a portion of the package. The packages described herein advantageously include a sealed pleat extending across the front wall portion of the package or a fin seal that includes at least a portion of a gripping portion of the flap. The removal of the gripping portion when the flap is peeled back to open the package can expose an adhesive on the inside of the pleat for package reclose.

The system of the preferred embodiments is a food wrap sheet comprising a quadrilateral sheet made of food grade material, where the sheet is designed to be wrapped around a food item, where the sheet is perforated to allow a user to more easily tear away the wrap from the food item. The food wrap sheet is designed to preferably allow a user to easily tear the wrap off one end of the food item, hold the partially wrapped food item vertically for consumption without having to worry about fluids leaking from the food wrap, and then progressively tear away the food wrap sheet as the user consumes the food item.

The invention relates to a packaging (1) for a liquid, the packaging comprising two layers of flexible material which are arranged superimposed each other and sealed together to form a pouch. The two layers are furthermore sealed together in asealing region (3) extending at a distance from an edge (4) of the packaging (1) while leaving a transition region (5) free from sealing. The sealing region thereby forms a delimitation between a receptacle (6) for holding the liquid and an outlet channel (7) which is in fluid communication with the receptacle (6) via the transition region. The sealing region (3) comprises a splitter (18) extending along a part of the sealing region, the splitter being shaped and arranged so that it is configured to provide a spout (11) comprising the outlet channel. The spout is obtained by applying a separation extending from the edge to the splitter and then along the splitter, and wherein wherein the sealing region (3) has a shape comprising at least one bulge (15) protruding in a plane of the sealing region (3). The invention further relates to methods of manufacturing such a packaging.

The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing. The bag can also include a sealed closure that at least a portion of which can be easily peeled open with less force than the remainder of the sealed closure.
