The blank is configured to be rolled into a cylindrical shape such that the first end overlaps the second end. The plurality of first flaps are configured to be folded radially inward relative to the cylindrical blank, and the plurality of second flaps are configured to be folded radially inward relative to the cylindrical blank.

A polymer binder with a molecular weight of at least 80,000 Dalton, preferably at least 100,000 Dalton, is used, and by virtue of the mixing ratio between the solvent, the binder, and the plasticizer, a bond strength between the lacquer layer and the support layer ranging from 0.07 N/50 mm to 0.30 N/50 mm and an elongation at break of the lacquer layer of at least 150% are set.

The front layer and the back layer each comprise a tear feature for separating the pouch into a first part for holding the food product and a second part. The tear feature of the front layer and the tear feature of the back layer are interconnected to each other in the area of the at least one peripheral interconnection joint.
