A dispenser for dispensing a flowable food product from a flexible reservoir supported by the dispenser is provided. The dispenser includes a frame and a body coupled to the frame. The body defines a cavity for receiving the flexible reservoir. The body includes: a bottom wall defining an opening; a sloped wall extending upward from the bottom wall and the opening, the sloped wall promoting a flow of flowable food product from the flexible reservoir towards the opening; and a pair of side walls extending upward from the bottom wall and the sloped wall. The dispenser further includes a fitment acceptor at least partly received in the opening. Additionally, a shape of the fitment acceptor corresponds with a shape of the opening such that the fitment acceptor is only correctly received in the opening one way.

A first folded portion is formed in a first web of panel material 1. An aperture is formed in a second web of panel material 2. A spout is inserted into the aperture, the spout and the second web of panel material 2 being heat sealed with each other. The second web of panel material 2 is guided by a guide device 18 to be folded after being heat sealed so that a second folded portion should be formed in the second web of panel material. The spout is turned over by the second folded portion. The second folded portion and the first folded portion are heat sealed with each other while the second folded portion and the second web of panel material 2 are heat sealed with each other about the spout.

A disposable wipes package and a package for disposable wipes comprising improved fitments to aid removal of wipes from within a package is disclosed herein. The dispensing fitment is formed of a single material and comprises a frame for securing to a package of disposable wipes. The frame has an oval, rectangular, diamond or ring shaped rim with an internal wall defining an opening through which wipes may be dispensed. A first petal is provided having a free end extending into an opening from a first side of the frame. A second petal has a free end extending into an opening from a second side of the frame towards the first petal to define a gap between the free ends of the first and second petals. The opening includes the gap and one or more orifices and occupies between 40% and 90% of the area within the rim.

FOOD PRODUCT DISPENSER AND VALVE

A dispenser for dispensing a flowable food product from a flexible reservoir is provided. The dispenser includes a frame; a body coupled to the frame and defining a cavity for receiving the flexible reservoir and including a bottom wall defining an opening; and a fitment acceptor at least partly received in the opening. The fitment acceptor includes forward and rearward sidewalls. A radius of curvature of the forward sidewall differs from a radius of curvature of the rearward sidewall. The radius of curvature of the forward sidewall and the radius of the curvature of the rearward sidewall correspond with radiuses of curvature of respective front and rear ends of a fitment of the flexible reservoir such that the fitment of the flexible reservoir is only insertable in the fitment acceptor in one relative orientation between the fitment and the fitment acceptor.
